2008-2009 financial aid packages for returning students

<p>Dear Rice Students,</p>

<p>The Office of Financial Aid is pleased to share your financial aid awards via ESTHER (<a href="http://esther.rice.edu/%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://esther.rice.edu/&lt;/a&gt;) this year. You can now view your financial aid package available to you for the 2008-2009 academic year.</p>

<p>In an effort to reduce paper and postage costs, we will not be mailing award letters this year. You should still be able to view important messages regarding your awards electronically under the Student Financial Services tab.</p>

<p>Although we will not be providing paper award letters to you, we are still committed to providing the best customer service to our students and families. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you in the coming year as we work together to help you achieve your higher education goals.</p>

<p>In Esther, look under "Award package for Award Year". The "Account Detail and Online Payment Access" does not have the Rice grant, loan info in yet, only the "outside aid" scholarships. HTHs :)</p>

<p>Hi, I was wondering if anybody hasn't received any financial aid notification on esther yet. Does that mean they are done evaluating the 2008 Fall semester? I've emailed and will call tomorrow. Has anyone heard of them reevaluating an aid package?</p>

<p>Yes I am aware of re-evaluations being done this year upon request, with additional information provided. Try. The worst that can happen is that they say no.</p>
