im not sure if this has already been asked somewhere in this forum, but is there anywhere we can see like mid sat and gpa of trustee and presidential scholars for 2008 to get an idea of what it will be this year?

i went to exploreusc to interview for the trustee and am DYING to know what my chances are. my stats are:

sat: 1390 (2120)
gpa: 3.93
national merit commended

From what I got at Explore, your stats are only a part of why you are being considered, but I do not think they even hold majority weight. A lot of it is your essay and activities, and all the short answers. And then from finalist status, it is who you are as a person in relation to what is on paper that gets it for you. Stats do not matter in terms of comparison.

beantown, wrt last year's stats I have not come across any documentation.
The scholarships are not based on stats alone however, although GPAs and SATS are all pretty high. Those who were invited to interview have something that stands out from others and are those who USC particularly wants to attract.
If your interview went well you should be fine. Best of luck, you will most likely get your letter this week depending on where you live. Apparently they were mailed today.

Agree with Sequoia. If you were invited to interview for Trustee, you have high enough numbers plus something more. Lots of students with equally high stats were not invited, so your app stood out in addition to your wonderful scores/grades.
The interview is all powerful. They look for leaders, passion, and enthusiasm for USC. Best of luck. You are all the top of the top, no matter the outcome.
