It has been a year since I applied for SLS 07 :) Time flies, really..

What do we usually put in the remarks section.
I have been involved w/ Fencing and Yoga so what does that go under.
Should I risk waiting for my SAT results (in 8 days), they aren't that good and since its rolling admission and all.

It depends... if you think you did well on SAT then it's okay to wait ( I applied in January and still got accepted in SLS). And, in the remarks section, I don't know what to say to you, but for my case, as an example, I told USMA who I am and how SLS would benefit me to make a decision for applying regular admissions.
Good luck!

What was your sls stats?
This is exciting and nerve breaking at the same time.
When do you get your results?

I applied the day after christmas last year. Stats @ that time were: ACT: E-27, M-29, R-32, S-34; GPA:3.67 rank 16/151; NHS, Class Treasurer, Boy Scouts (not quite Eagle then), Track, Football, XC, etc.

Got acceptance packet on Jan. 8, attended session 1. It is exciting, and it just gets more exciting the further you get in the process. I thought that was exciting... until I opened a LOA in september!

If I were you, I'd wait for your results. It's early enough in the application process that you can afford to wait a week or so for test scores. Good luck!

I applied first week app was out, got accepted, and attending week one.

Stats:
4.0 GPA

2/307 in class

70 Math PSAT
49 Critical Reading PSAT
63 Writing Skills PSAT
Class President Freshman year
7 varsity letters, 1 yr captain

Son tried to submit ap today but got website "experienced an unexpected error" message. It appears to not to be accepting the on-line ap at this time.

Took several tries, but system up and application accepted late in the evening.

I had a question regarding this app...our semester is ending soon obviously and I know that my GPA will be greatly improving, as well as my class rank (23/604, definitely jumping up a lot). Is it worth waiting for the report card (not sure how long, maybe 2 or 3 weeks) or should I just apply now. Also, if I am in a winter sport/spring sport and am anticipating earning a varsity letter, should I include this or should I only include those that I have received to date.

I personally would go ahead and send it, because you can always contact them with updated information.

And yes, do mark down your anticipated activities for your entire Junior year. Just make sure to contact them if anything significant changes.
