anyone from MN received the score?

I’m from MN - my son received his results from his guidance counselor last week.

anyone from california got the score? what the cutoff will be?

229 NJ… Ugh.

Writing curve was brutal and one really idiotic mistake in CR.

I’m from MN too. I scored 224. That’s like a 50 point increase for me :)

Florida
217

226 from Oregon. Our curve was around 213 last year, give or take a point.
-2 in CR (76) and -2 in Writing (70).

Really? 5 points per Writing question?

I got a 199 and 96th percentile I feel awful. Do you think this is good enough for commended?

My son got 229, NY

Wow… after reading this thread, I feel like a failure.

216 (72 CR + 71 M + 73 W) in Michigan. At least last year’s cutoff was a 209, so I think I have a pretty good chance at National Merit. As for the actual SAT (which is coming up in January), I hope I’ll have better luck.

Fledgling that’s amazing. didn;t you meet your state cutoff? Sigh, seing all these 220+ results makes me feel horrible and i don’t even have my scores back yet…

@SummaAlum. A Summa Alumni would post. lol I wonder who you are. Summa south or summa north?

214 in Oregon with one practice test. Hey, I’m cool with it. The cut off was 213 in OR for the past three years so I have a chance.

Thanks nil desperandum! Urgh, I guess I’m just annoyed mainly because I got more wrong than what was posted up on the PSAT discussion forums - I made a couple of mistakes I shouldn’t have. These were questions I knew how to answer; I just failed to read them properly. Kind of ironic how I lost most of my points on the easy questions while I correctly answered most of the debated questions in these forums lol.

Good luck to you! :)

Alaska - 227

anyone know what ohio’s cutoff would be?

^ Ohio’s cutoff last year was a 211.

216 in California. I worry because the previous 3 years have been 218, 217, 218. I don’t want to miss it by a point or two! Rumor says that it’s going up to 220… it better not.

234 in NY – anyone know what exact percentile would be?

224 in Nebraska! Victory! The cutoff in the past has been around 206 :D

215 in NC. Last year the cutoff was 215. Lovely. I hope it doesn’t go up this year
