unless the brand is very prominent you aren’t gonna be able to tell
and if you can, then you probably need something better to do with your life

@Manayy: I’m lucky to be a member of TFS (I blog about fashion). It’s addictive.

As far as branding goes, my ethic is to just stay away. Excellent tailoring will make you look classy without necessarily spending a lot to look like everyone else. The most fantastic-looking people will be wearing pieces you wish you’d thought of- and you won’t find those pieces at Abercrombie or A/X Armani.
Don’t be afraid of thrift stores- if you look for ones in very wealthy areas, you can often find designer bargains. Online retailers that have “flash sales”, such as Gilt Groupe, sell designer clothes at about 75-80% of retail price. High quality basics can be found at American Apparel, and a lot of very well dressed guys I know shop at a mixture of the above, plus Target, Urban Outfitters, and sample sales for designers.

omg i only lurk, it’s hard to become a member, like wttff?. can you pm me the code or whatever the ask for and stuff pretty please? lol :D
