Hello! Just wondering who else on CC is applying to the 2011 AAJA J Camp. This year it will be at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. I have not previously attended this camp; however, it seems really appealing.

So my questions:
Who else on CC is applying for the 2011 camp?
Any previous J-campers that would like to share their thoughts?

And then two more personal questions:

1) If I'm applying by email, it says I email them the essays and a scanned transcript. But then for the letter of recommendation and articles that I would like to send to them it says that I should "attach them" with my email. Does this mean that it is okay to scan the letter of recommendation (because my teacher gave it to me in paper form) and to scan my articles I would like to send them?

2) How likely is it for a Caucasian to get in? I know their goal is to promote racial diversity and that it is tough to get in already (10% acceptance?). Does this make it even tougher to get in if I'm Caucasian?

Thanks for the help and look forward to comments!
