2011 AP Prep books Review/suggestions

AP Calculus AB - I got Barron's and haven't really looked at it, but I guess it'll be fine for this year and hopefully BC next year. Princeton might be good I guess.

AP U.S. - Amsco is 600 pages, and the thing I don't like about it is there isn't really space in the boundaries to take notes. lol. DH might be better later in the year.

AP Spanish - Preparing for the AP Spanish Lang Exam - only done practice in class, and I can't do the listening outside of class, so maybe just do the CR, along w some writing prompts practice. Not sure what else, if anything, will help, besides watching and speaking spanish.

AP Eng Lang...Need some suggestions here...I'm stuck between cliffnotes, barron's 5 to 5, and princeton, lol...

Any feedback/comments? thanks.

I plan on getting Barron’s for Calc AB, so I’d like to know if anyone has had good results from using that too. Last year I took AP Spanish Lang, and I must tell you, it seriously has to be one of the most difficult AP tests. I didn’t use a review book (which I regret), but I feel if I did, even that wouldn’t have been enough to get a great score. We did so much practice in that class but even some of the really skilled students in there received a 2 on the AP test (I received a 2 as well, and I was just happy I didn’t get a 1—I slacked off so much in that class). There is SO much vocabulary you must know for the AP test, and the listening and speaking portions were pure hell.

Barron’s is a good book for Calc AB.
My teacher uses it and she had 5 people get less than 3 on the AP test last year (out of 70).

I think i will definitely get Barron’s for Calc then. Barron’s seems to be pretty good for all subjects generally. I don’t even think I’ll need to get a review book in order to get a 5 on AP Calc AB, but I just want to make sure that I do.

Yeh I’ve used barrons and Princeton…I feel hopeless about some of my aps this year
