I've read the consolidated list...just wondering inputs from other members:

AP Calculus AB
AP U.S. History
AP English Language
AP Spanish (already ordered preparing for the AP Spanish Language exam)

I'm planning to read amsco/online notes/textbook for U.S...throughout the year.

Princeton for calc, amsco for u.s., idk for others. Should I highlight in amsco throughout the yr with the textbook or wait till march to start the review?

PR have extremely easy FRQs for Calc AB. You should review previous FRqs on collegeboard website. But the MC section is good in PR.

Direct Hits for APUSH hands down, and AMSCO is good throughout the year. But DH for the month before the exam

thanks, I guess I have to order amsco online…

Which of these are self studies?

AP Calculus AB- If self studying, any will do, if not, no prep book needed.
AP U.S. History- REA
AP English Language- None is really needed, but if self studying Barron’s is probably best. Any will do though.
AP Spanish (already ordered preparing for the AP Spanish Language exam)- not sure

I’m taking all these in school; it’s been rough already.

English and Spanish are more skill-based, so I guess memorizing facts won’t work for those APs.

What color is the amsco prep book? It says preparing for the advanced placement us exam…an amsco publication? I though it was greenish cover.

Is 2012 version out yet for amsco?

In that case, my advice is to just order the REA for US History, and possibly some book for Spanish. Spanish was one of the classes in which I felt I learned more in class than from a preparation book, though. It might be good to get one just to practice and learn vocabulary.

Well most cc people recommend amsco…idk how’s it different? I just can’t find amsco online or I might have the wrong book.

AMSCO used to be recommended. Currently, most people recommend DH for people taking the class.

hmmm, is it a prep book or flashcards? I’m using online notes with textbook, so hopefully a prep book would help me out.

What does the cover of amsco look like?

So which one should I buy? and is Amsco the one with the american flag on the cover?

“an amsco publication”
