You MUST submit all final/updated transcripts to UT. At what time you do so is probably up to you, so I guess you don’t have to submit it at this point. But I can’t say for sure. UT might hold it against you if you don’t submit it - though I find that unlikely.

You’re international AND out of state? Good luck butterfly912, you’ll probably have the toughest admission standards so hopefully you have good essays/recs/resume to make up for the 3.83. I hope it goes well!

I submitted my Fall 2010 transcript late so they initially told me that I was no longer being considered for McCombs, but I went to the admissions center and whoever I talked to was wrong and since I am in CAP I am still being considered for McCombs. This process is so frustrating I can’t wait until I get a decision even thought it will probably be another month until I hear.

What are my chances of getting into McCombs?
Out-of-state transfer student
40 credit hours completed (including all indicator courses)
GPA: 3.77 from a KS community college and Univ. of KS
Excellent work experience and recommendation letters
Excellent essays (in my opinion)
Extensive extra-curricular activities
First Choice: Accounting
Second Choice: BA in Math (Teaching) or BS Biology (Marine and Freshwater)

Anyone have any knowledge of how good my chances are? All input is very appreciated. Thanks!

You’ve got a decent shot. You are at oo a little below the average admitted GPA. It’s been boucning beetween 3.7-3.8. I would say 85% chance atleast. Whenw will you be applying. Whats your work experience? If its related to business then your chances would go up.

I have extensive work experience as owner of math tutoring co., in retail and in co-owning a farmstead. I’ll be applying to McCombs for spring 2013 or fall 2013. I don’t think McCombs accepts new students in the spring, right?

My family is moving back to Austin from KS and I would like to go with them. But I’m already admitted to KU Business School, Accounting with 40 hours. I’m leery of transferring to UT without knowing whether I’ll get into McCombs. Could end up without an Accounting option there.
