<p>I applied for the Fall 2011 semester as a transfer student. I know that some regular decision admissions decisions have been mailed and I wonder if anyone has heard about transfer admission?</p>
<p>I also applied for transfer admissions for the fall 2011 semester. I submitted my application through the SUNY portal in December and sent in my transcripts on January 3rd. Yesterday I called an admissions representative asking why my status had not changed on the “MYUB” portal and was still asking for my college transcripts. Apparently, admissions just started with transfer admissions, applicants whose applications were completed first will receive a notification by the first week of march; all other will follow. The “MYUB” portal for applicants is a new concept so there could be some flaws here and there. You might even receive your offer of admissions in the mail before the portal actually updates your status, this is what they told me.</p>
<p>When did you send in all required credentials?. Does the “MYUB” portal display anything other than incomplete?.</p>
<p>I applied in late November or early December. I actually haven’t received an email telling me how to access the MYUB portal!</p>

Well I come from a very crappy, private,non-profit school in New York City. High school years were the worst because of my parents financial situation so I dropped out. I attend TCI College and I am already in my third semester gaining my associates degree in paralegal studies; I also have a GPA of 3.75. I’m applying with a GED but since I have more than 24 credits(30) they won’t look at my High school stats. I was able to verify through taurus.buffalo.edu that UB does accept some credits. This leaves me to the conclusion that my college is recognized by UB.</p>
<p>My application as a transfer for fall 2011 was sent and accepted on 2/16 and I have yet to receive a decision. I’m hoping I hear something this week. <em>fingers crossed</em></p>
