SUNY Transfer Chances!

So I am currently a freshman at SUNY New Paltz and applied for Fall 2011 to SUNY Binghamton, Buffalo, and Albany. I chose to be Undeclared for all three schools.

My first semester GPA is 3.56
Do I have any hope in being accepted to any of the three schools?
My first choice is Binghamton but I'm not much confident about whether or not I stand a chance.

Thank you!

Yes you do. I am certain you can get into at least one of them including Binghamton.
Are you applying for 2011 spring admission?

No, I am applying for Fall 2011. My high school grades aren’t outstanding at all.

But thank you  gives me hope to see that I somewhat have a chance of transferring.

Bump! I would really appreciate more responses!

Absolutely! I personally asked the admissions after I got accepted for Fall 2010, and they told me the GPA that they would “consider” was just above 2.8.
Btw, my GPA was 3.0 and I got in. So no worries

Sorry, I forgot to mention I’m in Binghamton :]

@wwwlk18: Were you a transfer? Where did you transfer from?

*Another quick question!

I know I have put undecided for all three schools, but I feel like this was a huge mistake. Especially for Binghamton. I’ve been leaning towards Accounting, but the problem is, I’m not completely sure if that’s the major I really want. And I’ve heard it is close to impossible to transfer from Harpur to SOM.

What should I do? Any advice?

Bump! Trying to get as much responses as possible! Please help.

Bumping again! :(

If you want to major in Accounting, don’t choose Harpur. You don’t have a better chance transferring from Harpur than someone from another university.

SOM accepts very few transfers each year because very few transfer out.
