I got all happy about the fin aid thing, this email thing is ruining my vibes.

I am dying people, arghhhhhhhh. please just end this god, today! don’t care if I’m rejected or accepted, today please. amen.

I was told that its likey to be released today! Only if nobody told me this… I wouldnt feel so bad GOD

i really don’t think email accounts are indicative of anything. any summer sessions student can make one…

who told you though, we were all under somewhat of an impression that today was Judgment day, but alas…

I agree, i wouldn’t put too much weight on ANY of the so called “hacks” especially since last year UCSB invited like half of the transfer applicants to register for housing, let them register, and then didn’t offer admission to a lot of them… it just goes to show that the only thing you can trust is the official decision

it should’ve been today! it’s 4/20… hitler’s birthday :/

I read it from a counselor’s website. She said it’s likely to be on the 20th but unverified. All people ive talked to believed it would be today! you?

yes, today based on history. people said that a higher applicant rate would affect it but judging from how accurately they did the freshman date, then we believed the 20th. anyways, i have so much work but i cannot focus whatsoever, END THE MADNESS!!!

6 o clock and still nothing… what a waste of a day

yep nothing not even website is down or something

as usual, we just wasted a day

OMG! it;s true… hitlers bday!

Guess it’s not today; sigh of relief guess I’ve secured myself at least another 24 hours to see if my URSA finaid gets updated or not, haha!

DEFCON 3 it is.

You people are all insane.

I am curious to see if I got in, and I worked really hard to get into UCLA or Berkeley, but making yourself crazy over it is not going to help at all.

I’m way too paranoid to even try to “hack” into the UCLA websites to check financial aid or see if I can make an email. How does that make things better? It doesn’t really tell you if you got in or not, and all it does is risk getting in trouble for messing with the system.

Go get some ice cream or go to the movies with friends or something. Get out of the house and off this damn message board and stop refreshing the UCLA website every 5 minutes. You will know when you got in when they tel us, it is out of your hands. Obsessing over this decision will not change anything and it will only make you nuts.

I am just as excited to find out if I got in or not, but the difference is that until I find out, I am just chillin’ and living my life and you guys are sitting here in a collective panic.

If anything, so many people calling today and sending emails might **** off admissions enough to not be in any sort of rush to release decisions.

I hope decisions are released by Easter. It would be nice to share the news with family.

…tough crowd ^_^

Yes =) I’m just dying to know. I don’t have a good GPA nor TAP. I’m just betting my life on this. I can’t live a life =\ I love UCLA way too much and I want to be hugged. I just can’t chill like you… I wish I would

lol berkeleyorbust…nobody is going to get in trouble for trying to check their fin aid status. what did you have in mind, a time out? spanking? hilar.

hugs sayamk :3

I also, cannot chill D:

@BerkeleyOrBust

I’m sure that the admissions office is used to having tons students try to find out admissions decisions before they’re released, so I doubt that an entire UC admissions office would agree to hold onto decisions just because students are trying to get answers. In a professional setting, it would be ridiculous to be that petty. You have a good point about trying to chill out, but saying it in a way where you don’t sound all high and mighty might have a bigger impact.

…Just saying.
