Oh, what are the chances?! My heart's still set on NYU.

<p>Stern waitlistee here. SIR-ed to Villanova. Ah I don’t know what to expect from NYU! I feel like even if I get off the waitlist, I wouldn’t be able to attend for financial reasons.</p>

<p>Also…if you dont mind me asking…students here on the waitlist…do you guys mind sharing your grades, extra curriculars and stuff? And are you guys tranferring from another school or are you all incoming freshies?</p>

<p>I’m not too sure about the chances this year. I think quite a few people will be turning NYU down this year due to financial circumstances, as our economy is weak, but who knows??? I’m really suspicious about NYU saying the waitlist isn’t ranked. They said they don’t start reviewing until May 5th… but they started notifying May 5th as well last year! How in the world do they go through all of our responses and choose that quickly??</p>

<p>well from the look of things, there is no way they will release anything today.</p>
<p>I got an e-mail from NYU today at about 10 AM offering me a spot in the liberal studies program from the CAS waitlist</p>
