And oh please, this is allowed. Have you SEEN the sat discussion threads?

I got a 33 on the sci portion in December. I’m praying I did just as well but it’s not likely

First time on the act, didnt think it was too bad. A perfect subject score or two is definitely possible for me. Multiple choice was easy but for some reason i struggled on the essay. Wasnt happy with my 2020 sat but hopefully ill be happy with what i get on this.

I’m pretty disappointed in myself. I got a 35 on my last practice test, but I will be so happy if I got a 32 on this one. I though the English was very easy, the Math wasn’t bad either, but I kind of blanked out and ended up missing the last 3-4 questions. Reading was easier than the practice too, but I started freaking out and missed about 3 as well. Science was INSANELY difficult. Usually you can skim through the reading, but this one made you interpret and analyze everything. I missed the whole last passage, and I hope I’m not screwed. Now I have to study for May SAT’s. You know, I’m sort of fed up with education in America.

Science was easy but I didn’t have enough time on math :/

spicyhot - I haven’t, no, but maybe I should check them out. I’m glad I’m not breaking any rules, though.

I made an account just to talk about this lol.

English: Was pretty sure about answers
Reading: Same^
Math: guessed on a couple, the rest was ok I think
Science: Had trouble a couple questions, hopefully I picked the right things

Essay: Great topic, I was able to write a lot (are we allowed to say the topic because I heard some other people discussing what they wrote and I’m not sure if I had the same topic) I’m probably being paranoid though

from the start the science was insanely confusing for me, a complete change from the practice tests. i completely guessed on 2-3 :(

Here are my questions that I was really unsure about:
-English, the one where you had to choose which word wouldn’t work. It was in the passage about girls finding fossils. I think the options were: period, stride, length, and (blanking, sorry Idk). It was supposed to replace span. I said period because I thought the original phrasing included all the time from the dinosaurs to the present, but I thought period only refered to the time of the dinosaurs.

-English, on the aquafarming or whatever. “demand increased”. I thought it should be “the demand” but I wasn’t sure. I can’t remember the sentence very well.

What is the curve usually? Like two wrong on the math for example

When can we expect results? B4 or After May 5 SAT?

It’s not like ACT will find you and hunt you down (or just void your test) for posting on a forum… but there’s always that thought in the back of my head lolz

They said 5-8 weeks… so May 19th to June 9th…

does anyone know where i can find the grading curve

i think april 30th we get scores

What? I heard we get our scores back April 30th.

Battlebrick - Maybe not literally, but figuratively? shot

Well, not only that, but I don’t want to give away too much to people who still have to take the ACTs in other time zones, too.

On english was that one question a colon or semi-colon

-2 on math is 33/34.
Use the chart on the redbook for curves

HopefulDawg can you be more specific
