I was accepted to K-State Architecture around the 2nd week of
February. I was accepted to K-State in general on the 24th of January. Good luck!!! (:

Thanks for your reply. My dd has a list of “not yet heard froms”, too. Which is your dream school? And why don’t you like K-State? Your opinions are welcome!

Accepted into Syracuse and Penn State!

Still waiting on my other RDs though

Syracuse was one of my top threes so I am really relieved now. Waiting on the other twos. :)

(I got my Syracuse decision earlier than others because I’m an international student)

Congrats, sykedd, goingtothesun, thelibero and all others! These next few weeks will tell the tale!

D. accepted to K-State Architecture (her “dream” school) today!

We should be expecting some Syracuse RD decisions today, :).

Accepted to Georgia Tech College of Architecture and Rice SOA. Still waiting to hear about Yale and Cornell!!

Accepted for architecture to:

Carnegie Mellon U
Syracuse U
Washington University in St. Louis
Northeastern U
Cal Poly SLO
Rensselaer Poly U
U of Minnesota Twin Cities (probably where I’ll end up considering everywhere else is too expensive!)

Last week I received my acceptance to Syracuse School of Architecture! Couldn’t be happier.

Congratulations to you acjgirl! Your parents must be s-o proud!!!

And jessnic, congrats to you as well! The new rule of thumb is to avoid debt which exceeds your first year salary in your chosen field----keep us updated about financial aid offers. You are being wise and judicious in your decision. Heavy debt is a curse! Walk free of it and you’ll have more options in the future. All the best!

Hi I’ve got Rice, Carnegie Mellon U, Barnard :D

Previously posted about my Syracuse acceptance, and last night I was accepted to Princeton University as well. :)))

I can’t believe how incredibly lucky I am to be choosing between two amazing schools.

Congrats TanArch32 and acjgirl! You both have so much to be excited about! Which are your choices?

Accepted to Cornell, Princeton, WashU and Tufts!

My son was accepted to U of Oregon,Cal Poly Pomona and wait listed at Cal Poly SLO (his top choice). For any of you who have been accepted to SLO but don’t want to go there - please let them know now!

accepted:

syracuse, usc, cal poly slo, virginia tech, rpi, georgia tech, and several other schools for civil engineering.

wait listed:

risd

omg rice is aweeeesome!!!

Congratulations to everyone, :).

Is there a way to sticky this thread like last year’s?

Compared to last year’s acceptance thread this one is pretty thin. I think that there must have been a few who have been scared off by the tremendous building down turn. In future years, however, many older boomer architects will be retiring and I think that there may bode well for all here who finish architecture school.

Trying to decide between Syracuse, Virginia Tech, USC, UMD and Notre Dame. (All for architecture) Any thoughts/opinions?
