It seems that the early notifications have slowed/stopped. Does anyone have any insight?

They're probably still trickling in. As I understand it, there's a bundle of them that go out in the beginning. Over the next couple months, they give out a few more, and then there's the mass of acceptances in the Spring. So they are probably still sending out a few, but not as many as there were in the first wave.

Also keep in mind that only 100 LOAs are issued prior to March, can't give too many early.

The idea of having only 100 LOAs prior to March surprises me given the fact that USAFA has rolling admissions. It seems to me that if it's going to be rolling, wouldn't they continue "rolling" out LOAs throughout the year?

where did u get the 100 LOA number??

And if it is 100 LOAs, then is it also only 100 Appointments offered early on as well?

Where did you get the idea that the Academy is rolling? It's not. They offer the bulk of appointments (about 1000) in March. I believe 100 LOAs (no nomination) are offered, then about 500 appointments before March (based on the math). I've only been fed admissions info (from old admissions folks) that 100 LOAs and March has 1000 appointments. Usually appointments after that are to people after others turned down their appointments.

sucks when you have one bad eye (barely), are nav qualified, and have to have more points on your app to be accepted, being told if your eye was a bit better you'd be in already :(

How are you nav qual. DODMERB gives only qual or non qual.

As far as I know about rolling, they do it through Dece, or so told by regional admission It is in Jan. that they start up the whole wave.

the academy puts you as pilot, nav, or commission...

Hey the strike eagle is always there for you.
