Could anyone who did the June 2008 SAT (US) post the curves you got for it please. Internationals just had the same test and I think the curve will be very similar.

How did you know the test was the same as the one in 2008 june?

i doubt they did the same test, but if they did then hey good for you!

we did have the same test. i checked on college confidential - the june 2008 discussion. it was up yesterday when i finished my test, but then they took it off as soon as they found out. ==

Has this ever happened before?

Also the curves; http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf

yeah it has. it always happens esp between international-US. apparently the october intl. test was the same as the nov 2010 us test.

You won’t find it on the curves for the released tests - because if they’re using it again, they won’t have released it! They do reuse tests, usually several years later to avoid the possibility of a given student taking the same test twice. Once they release it, and provide Q&A service, it won’t be used again, because the official answers are then available.

True, but there are old threads we can go back to and figure it out. I figured out that the Math one was lenient (phew) -4 (with penalty included for getting 3 wrong) gets 730. And a guy said he left 2 and got 6 wrong (not sure how many of those were in grid-in) and he got 680. So that’s a good math curve.

I’m going to go look for more data june 08 curves.

Yes. Virtually all International tests are re-used unreleased US tests. It’s totally shameful that the CB–a non-profit with revenue in excess of $100 million–can’t make a unique test for every sitting. They know for a fact that many “unreleased” exams have been pirated and are in circulation, and yet they do nothing. International=out of sight, out of mind.

No it is about the curve. If they make unique exams for us they would not be able to compare us with american students.

Except a TON of the international test-takers are American. International schools, base schools, etc…

(and curves are worked out well before the test is given–that’s what experimental sections are for, among other things)

Why did they repeat na? what if someone somehow got that test. Then his scores won’t be a realistic one
