<p>Looking over top university app's on CC, I'm always surprised at how many of us are marching band people, especially section leaders and drum majors! I'm so PUMPED for marching season next year, as it will be my senior year and my second year as drum major. Our theme is horror/scary... Toccata ad Fugue in d minor, Thriller, Night On Bald Mountain, and Funeral March! </p>

<p>Ours is Gotham Villains. So excited for it! I’ll be going to band camp this entire week, so I’m excited/scared for it. Any tips on how to survive overnight band camp?</p>

<p>I’m so happy I finished band camp last week! The last couple of days weren’t that bad because it was a good 20 degrees cooler. Our’s doesn’t have a name yet…</p>
<p>We don’t have a theme. I’m in a military marching band(Southern thing), and we do more focus on the technical things I guess, we do really really well though at UIL.</p>
<p>My DS '15 is at band camp this week, they are doing The Lion King and I am so excited! Not sure which songs, though.</p>
