Anyone having trouble logging in with their password? I had to change my password twice already because it would not accept it. I know its the right one too because I wrote the password down

I want to tag with Davis but I’m not too sure which major to pick. Managerial economics asks for math 16a/b be done before transfer. Then when I look at economics it has 16a/b/c but I’m not too sure if I need all of them to get accepted. I only have time to complete 16a/b but I’m worried I might not get 16b calc next semester because of budget cuts.

All questions concerning TAG can be answered here: http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/counselors/files/ETS11_TAGMatrix_rev070111.pdf

Now go do something productive :)

^basically.

Why is my TAG password not working? I have to make a new one everytime…

Edit: Nvm. It works now.

Hey guys, this semester will be my last semester…ill have 62 units by the end of Fall. So I’ll just be working instead of going to school for the spring semester. Will not taking any classes during spring affect the TAG eligibility or UC eligibility at all?

thanks in advance

movingunit, are you still trying to go to Irvine, as of today I’m having second thoughts.

I’m reading about Irvine PD and its kinda horrifying, especially with me as a minority.

@ movingunit

I don’t it matters as long as you have fulfilled the requirements. please correct me if I’m wrong anyone.

@kittychan

dude focus on the school you’ll be attending. as long as you abide by the law what do you have to worry about? only wrongdoers worry about the police dept rofl.

Hi guys! Just really curious about this - Does the UC TAG GPA cutoff apply for all applicants regardless of local/international student? Oh and another thing, has anybody ever heard of people getting rejected by the UC TAG? :/

is tag of for community college students? can a uc to uc transfer student apply to tag as well?

no sir/madam, TAG is only for CCC students. however some UC’s accept CCC students who have taken 4 Year Units, not UCI though. And you have to only take a low amount of units to be eligible.

@lakersFTW. The only way you can get rejected by UC TAG is if you do not meet or satisfy their minimum requirements. (GPA, Units completed, and etc)

UCkittychen: does ucd allow tag for uc-uc transfer?

no sorry, CCC only.

I talked to a UCD admissions counselor today who told me the rule against part time enrollment is to discourage concurrent enrollment at a university, not for CCC only students who go to classes part time. Good to know.

On the TAG matrix, it states that the minimum GPA for Irvine is “3.2 for all UC transferable coursework by summer 2011, and for each subsequent term”. I am a little confuse about the “each subsequent term” part of the agreement. Does that mean for EACH semester after summer, I need to get a GPA of 3.2 or higher? Do i not qualify if I get a 3.0 in fall and spring, but my overall UC transferable GPA is still above 3.2?

Link to TAG matrix: http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/counselors/files/ETS11_TAGMatrix_rev070111.pdf

The min. GPA info is on the third page.

Can you start the TAG app and save it and come back to it later?

yes pb, you can :)

desirablefps (first person shooter?), it means you need a 3.2 fall and spring, maintain a 3.2, keep a 3.2, whichever each term after that, but you need one summer 2011, as well as the transferrable math completed by that time as well

so do we need to include all the non transferable courses?? right now my gpa of all transferable courses is 3.4…

if included non transfer ( around 20 units others + ESL) around 2.95…

that will have a big impact on my gpa…

how are they going to count my gpa in TAG anyway???

should i list the non transferable courses?? what about my gpa? I thought theyare only count transferable units courses.

I am not sure about the GPA part of your question. You need to talk to a counselor. BUT as far as the other part of your question…you must submit every single class you have ever taken at a ccc or other college. They will find out if you leave any thing out. I have over 200 units (I am 58 years old and just now finishing my bachelors degree) . Believe me, I didn’t want to put down every class, including W’s and Incompletes, that I took over the years…but I did. That’s just part of the deal. So just enter every single class.
