<p>Wow. That’s why you have to be careful and check a million times but it happens. They do read the explanation. Send your transcript and write an explanation. If they had the time to send you that email, then they sure have to time to read and review your application.</p>
<p>@whythiskolaveri: I have the same gpa as you and they said you have no chance? your major isn’t even impacted. Still think you have a good shot.</p>

<p>@mangochoko: I’m not sure if I understand your thread completely. Because I had W’s from before and retook them. Can they not see that there is a W as the grade for the class in the application and TAU? I have not been contacted by them however.</p>
<p>Oh my gosh. I finally found my preliminary award notice (PAN aka financial aid package) after trolling for forever and making a big deal out of it yesterday.</p>
<p>For anyone else having trouble, you can log in through myapplication.ucsd.edu</p>
<p>From there, scroll to bottom of your letter of admittance and click on “continue to admission status page”. You will see a list of 5 links. Just click on “My Financial Aid Preliminary Award Notice” </p>

<p>No shot without a 3.5+ seems kind of nuts. Then again, who knows. Any non-UniversityLink people with under a 3.5 get in? Chime in, if you can!</p>
<p>as far as I can tell, no one with lower than a 3.5 was admitted in the 1st batch…atleast on this thread. excluding the region x tag people</p>
