I saw the UCI campus map online, and all the main lecture buildings were in the same area. I think that’s a plus since its easy to get from class to class. Lol.

@ iDizzle yeah they have some unique buildings though… like their library and uh yeah. I just hope we get into LA so it’s convenient for both us. No need to move and spend extra cash.

@kitty did you go to irvine in person? I heard it’s a clean and tidy place.

Irvine is actually really nice. There’s a large park in the center of the school, with all the buildings circling it. So basically you can’t get lost. Just keep walking that circle and you’ll find your building
there are some older buildings but also some newer ones.

@chelzmcnamara: Yes! I did. It’s really clean and the campus is huge but I don’t think it’s bigger than UCSD. The buildings are pretty close to one another too. I’d choose irvine over SB but I’d probably have to take more classes at Irvine :/

^^ Yeah same. I’m in glendale but it still takes forever to get to UCLA campus on the 405. Last time I picked up my brother from LA and it took about an hour to drive like 100 yards from his dorm to the freeway entrance, its ridiculous.

Irvine is nice too. I used to go there when my friend dormed there. I love how wide open the streets of irvine are.

I think I heard Irvine needs us to take a level 4 of a language? IE. Spanish 4 etc. Not sure if that’s worth the hassle for me.

How come you would pick irvine or SB ? @acoustickitty

@IcedEspresso Don’t believe there is a ratio for freshmen:transfer. That wouldn’t make sense because we’re upper division so why would it matter?

@iDizzle: I’m in Glendale too! I hate it here a lot. So tired of everything and I can’t wait to leave.
@Chelz: I’d choose Irvine over SB because I rather be in a quiet environment. I’m sort of anti-social and being in a social environment annoys me LOL I just get a bad vibe from the school.

@ Chelz: I’m not sure but I applied as an anthro major to Irvine too. It seems that Irvine requires a lot of weird classes. I mean come on, calculus and java programming for anthropology?

@ Acoustickitty: lol. Nice. I hate glendale too. I’m only living there because my gf is currently going to Art Center. She’s graduating in the fall so when I transfer we can get the hell out of there. lol.

@iDizzle: HECK YEAH. Lucky you. My family’s here and I feel bad leaving them but I have to for school. Oh well it’s life :-)

lol. yeah. The rest of my family is still in diamond bar, so I visit when I can.

Y’all are in Glendale? I go to GCC! The cities alright, mainly because I’m either on campus or at the Galleria. :P

^^lol. yeah. I go to mt sac though. it’s a lot further but not tooo bad.

@iMunster: Armenian pride lololol IDK I got tired of GCC mainly because of the people haha

Haha. I’m not Armenian but everyone in Glendale is either that or Korean. And to be honest, a lot of the Armenians in campus are really rude and come off as snobbish to me.

Yeah, keyword “A lot”. I’m not like that…because I’m white washed thank the lawd. But I totally feel you.

maybe you are the snobbish one

@ iMunster: lol. I wasn’t going to say anything, didn’t want to offend anyone. But I get the same impression from Glendale. I’ve only been there for 2 years but I’m tired of people driving like 100 mph in a residential or in a parking lot. And when they almost hit you, the give YOU the dirty look. lol! Again, no offense by any of it, Acoustickitty. It’s just what i’ve observed and experienced since I’ve been here.

^Were they driving a Mercedes-Benz or a BMW?
