2012 USABO Thread

@kbolisetty23: yeah i copied and pasted it directly from the email. however, my teacher’s is blank too and it seems that my number is different on his roster. i put in that number (on the roster) and it works.

the problem is though, that i think the ID has been changed since i took the test. this is a problem, because if i put in the first number, we have a problem…

@upsilon. I’m so sorry, that really sucks… I hope you didn’t study too hard for this exam, in case the worst happens…

@kbolisetty no im kinda annoyed actually cuz i studied my butt off and i really wanted semi :(

@Upsilon. Oh the irony…I did zero studying for this exam yet managed to somehow qualify. Life is so unfair. I feel like a massive jerk now. I really really hope you get your score, though.

I couldn’t see my score. Should you log in to see the score? Where did you get your user ID. Thanks.

@genetics11. Go through your email history. When you signed up for USABO, CEE sent you an email verification that contains your ID number.

Thanks kbolisetty23 (and anyone else who responded to my question). :-)

btw, how many characters are your ID numbers? just want to check something…

@upsilon Mine is 9 digits long.

@kbolisetty23: thats really weird because the new one on the roster is 9, but the one i was sent is 7. this is really messed up :(

@upsilon. Have you tried logging in with the new ID on the roster? Or has that not worked too? If not, I’m pretty sure they let you reset your password…

@kbolisetty23: yeah i tried logging in with the new ID, and it works.

but i think on the test form, i might have written the old ID code because that is what was on the roster at the time…

but what i do know 100% is that my teacher’s and my results page is completely blank

@upsilon At this point, all that’s left to do is email/call CEE.

@kbolisetty23 I emailed my teacher, and i asked him to send an email to the director, Kathy. still awaiting his reply.

if by tmrw i dont get a reply, ill just email Kathy myself and cc my teacher. i just want to get this taken care of early, so there’s more time to fix it…

and thanks alot, kbolisetty :)

Where is the cutoff score posted? I’ve been looking around and I can’t seem to find it…

@eli1729 It’s technically not visible to any students as of yet (as far as I know), but having looked at my teacher’s account at the USABO site (which reported the cutoff score), I know for a fact that the cutoff was 24. If you don’t believe me, you can ask your bio teacher; he/she should have access to the same info.

Oh, ok. Thanks.

Just to make sure- is everyone able to see their score online? I and everyone else from my school still can’t see our scores.

I can’t see mine, and neither can my teacher. I’m not too worried yet.

40 :)…
