<p>This will be a list of colleges that have started to take kids off their waitlist. It does happen! It's a list only; please refrain from all other discussion on this thread. Once you start this year's list (verified), be sure to copy the list and keep it alphabetical. GL</p>

<p>Terrific idea. My d is still waiting on two schools. We sent in deposit to third school today, because we had not yet heard.</p>

<p>My daughter walked her deposit to Vandy in order to accept a position off the waitlist four years ago. I don’t think they offered to refund any of it, but in the big picture it was not a great financial loss.</p>
