@shortyfaith Ken Burns’ documentaries jump to mind, think he made some good ones on Civil War & Dust Bowl. Dunno which are there on netflix though.

hey guys i took apush last year. I found all of my past released exams yesterday. I searced them up and 4 of them came up on the internet. I have them as documents. I can send em to you.

Thanks! I did find Ken Burns’ documentaries on Netflix. I didn’t see the Dust Bowl one, but I did see the one on the Civil War.

As a person planning to take APUSH next year, how hard should I anticipate this class to be, is it hard - if so, in what way? what does it take to excel - reading, notes, etc. Also, how should I prioritize this class as opposed to other AP’s (I’m taking AP Chem and APCS as well)

It’s not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Sure, there will be some late nights of reading, but the concepts are fairly easy to grasp. If you don’t have an interest in history, it may be harder.

So any DBQ predictions guys?
I’ve only read 75% of the pageant and have not retained much info…

Are most people taking AP U.S. History as a year-long course or a half-year course? My daughter’s high school is only offering it as a half-year course next year, and I’m concerned that she will really need a full year to learn the material.

@shortyfaith yeah, the Dust Bowl one was on PBS a few Sundays past. Had I known the intensity with which I would be cramming for this test, I would surely have watched it…alas.

@LR4150: Uh, you definitely need a year. I haven’t a clue how the school plans on covering the entirety of US History at an AP-level depth in a semester. Many schools experience a time crunch to get everything in even when giving it a full year.

Can anyone PM me any past, released APUSH multiple choice exam questions? I really need more practice, I have been scoring inconsistent results. Thanks!

I don’t know if the 2012 MC test was released. Some people said it was but they can’t find it.

Anyway, here are the questions from last year that were compiled after the test. It’s not the full test by any means, just the topic+answer of the questions.

Does anyone have any past MC exams? from any year?
I can trade with 2001 MC

And anyone have any DBQ/FRQ predictions?

My APUSH teacher seems to think the Progressive Era could be a likely topic for a DBQ, and he thinks there might eventually be one on Native Americans.

On Native Americans??? are you kidding me?

An FRQ on Native Americans would be brutal. I’d better go review that.

My teacher wants an essay on Native Americans too!

I think that a Progressive DBQ is plausible. There’s a lot of outside information that could be used. But I also heard of a War of 1812 DBQ. Hmm.

[Adam Norris - YouTube](<a href=“Adam Norris - YouTube”>Adam Norris - YouTube)

This guy is amazingly awesome, and I reccomend everyone taking the class to watch his videos, he has summaries of each chapter from a textbook, and a lot of videos summarizing core topics like parties, elections, progressivism, vietnam etc. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED for quick review.

My teacher think a frq would be on women suffrage and etc
Anyone got tips for last minute cramming my test is a week n a day from now so not exactly last minute but tips?

@JDancer when you say a DBQ on Native Americans, do you mean the Native Americans relationship with the US in the mid to late 1800s?
