I’m starting to study. :(

I’ve probably posted this before but honestly - get the essential content book. i have never been so clueless three weeks before an AP exam and i have never been so confident in a 5 following it, entirely due to reading his book a few weeks prior

Do you guys think FDR was an isolationist or interventionist?

Conservatives definitely felt that FDR was an interventionist. They compared him to a dictator because of his aggressive presidency. Republicans also complained that the government was hurting private industries during this time

Whoever feels behind- We haven’t even made it to the Depression yet and I am panicking. We just finished the progressive era but we are also doing a side project on the 16 most recent presidents… My teacher is incompetent and either shows us a dumb movie no one watches or shows us a Poiser slideshow (he steals the slideshows from Ms. Poiser a mystical APUSH teacher from upstate NY he found via google… all our work has her name written all over it… literally)

Does anyone have any tips for essays both FRQ and DBQ? Mine are lacking a little bit.

1DSoccerGurl- the American Pageant basically says he was an isolationist at first but changed his ways after the fall of France. So an isolationist by choice but turned interventionist by fear of Hitler’s conquest.

I’m officially screwed…they took down the AMSCO pdf website guys.

Really? D: I just lost my AMSCO pdf recently…was it because of that?

I just got the REA prep book for APUSH. If I read that, will I get a 5?

Does anyone have a mirror link or can someone upload the amsco pdf?

w/e you guys do buy the the APUSH crash course. That thing is the goddd. I went from 50s on my mock AP Tests to a final mock multiple choice ap score of 79/80. NO JOKE. Buy it before it sells out (which happens every year).

Don’t bother reading AMSCO or something else lengthy. Get the Essential Content by Larry Krieger. It is excellent. I’m sure Crash Course is good, too, because I have it for AP Euro and it is wonderful.

Any predictions for this year’s FRQ?

For those who wanted the AMSCO [heres a mirror link.](http://dropcanvas.com/#g7gg5Pw8x4rtgt)

Really anxious for the AP test. Im having trouble retaining the information in my head and making myself REALLY interested. My grades are slowly dropping. blech.

I bought the AMSCO book but its really really long lol. Does anyone think I can still manage a 5 if I just use Crash Course + Five Steps + Flashcards?

Quick, what’s the Virginia House of Burgesses?
Try to answer without looking it up.

I have the AMSCO and it’s really not that bad at all. I would suggest breaking it down by how many chapters divided by how many days you want to prepare, for example, I started studying on April 1st and the AMSCO has 34 chapters so if I do one a day I’ll have time to review all my notes, read the crash course, etc. before the AP exam

We are right in the middle-end of the cold war atm and are goin up to obama if anyone wants a comparison

For those of you that are using APUSH Crash Course do any of you have one published later the 2/2010? That is the latest version I can find unless you go to the kindle version which may just have a 2013 date because that’s the first time they made a kindle version available (which could be the same material as the 2010 paperback).

Okay, so my school uses the Brinkley text and it is way too long to read. Basically i havent learned much all year… i found a website([Study Notes - Free AP Notes](http://www.apstudynotes.org)) and it appears to be a very good site. It’s outlines are based on the american pageant text. I recently just started read/studying their outlines, timelines, and frequent topics from the exam. I don’t really have time or money for that matter to buy crash course or prep books for the exam. For the past several years everyone who has taking the course has made 1’s and 2’s… and i want a four or hopefully five! what can i do to atleast try to acomplish this? i don’t want that $90 to go to waste!
