2014 MCAT carry into 2015?

Hypothetically speaking, if I take the MCAT for the first time in in the second semester of my junior year (beginning of 2014) and like my score a lot, but I don't get into medical school that year, will I still be able to use that score in 2015 to apply?

Or will I be forced to retake it in 2015 because of the new MCAT?

By the time I apply in 2014, I will only have 200 clinical hours at an emergency room, one month of shadowing, and 100 hours of volunteering at a nursing home, and the possibility of no research experience, and I won't be leading any of the clubs I am in. With my extracurriculars so bleak, I worried I might have to try again in 2015 with them beefed up a bit and don't want to lose my MCAT score.

Applicants who will matriculate into medical school in Fall 2017 must take the new 2015 MCAT.

Applicants who will matriculate into medical school in Fall 2016 can use a MCAT score from either the old MCAT or the new MCAT.

A MCAT score is typically good for 2-3 years. (AMCAS says 3 years, but some schools will only accept MCATs that are 2 years old.)
