I called Admissions and asked them if they’d received my fax yesterday (verification of my AA-T) and they had. I also asked them about when AA-Ts would be hearing and she said first week of April. When I told her that I had multiple friends with AA-Ts who had received word already, she said it’s by major. My friend who was denied yesterday was a Communications major with an AA-T, and I’m a Health Communications major with an AA-T. Not sure if they’re just feeding us bs again or what, so… anyone who applied to HEALTH COMMUNICATIONS please write in when you hear word!
Thanks :)

@christinedoz I feel like you should be golden because you’re local! I seem to be in the same boat as you with exact same stats (except my GPA is a 3.2… and I’m in santa barbara). Crossing fingers for us!

I wonder if denied transfer students receive an e-mail from SDSU, as well as those accepted?

^^Good question! If only we can figure out their systematic system, then that would help us understand the selection process.

@F2014Accounting are you staying another year at a CC to try to get in next year? whats your plan for this upcoming Fall bud?

Did anyone get admitted this week? On here I only saw denials, and I only heard of denials from my friends.

@ajmarr Fiance’ is CJ major, no word yet.

Hi guys this is my first post and here are my stats
100% local applicant
Math major applied with AS-T degree
Gpa 2.7
Status: pending as of November 27

I’m hoping since I’m local with my adt (which makes me tier 1 I think) that I have a shot! I haven’t seen too many math majors here so if any math majors have been accepted let me know!

I applied to communications major with an AST degree. I called to see the status and found out they never received my proof I had the pending AST from my CC. **** **** it was faxed in January with fax confirmation. They said it was never entered and they are processing those submitted as of Mar. 7. The fax confirm didn’t matter I still had to resubmit.
Make sure you call to see if they have received everything!!! WEB PORTAL doesn’t always update or post missing items. Good luck.

I am a transfer student from a cc in the local area of sdsu. 100% of courses were taken here and I will have completed 66 transferable units by spring 2014. I Have met all requirements for tag yet I have not heard back yet; all requirements met for TAG including gpa, local courses, major prep, golden four, and apply at csumentor back in the first application timeline. I have been pending since October 5th.

My Major is health communications and I have a 3.08 overall thru 66 transferable units.

I haven’t heard back so any I go will help

@Riz619 we have the same stats. Except you didn’t mention having an AS-T.

No acceptance or denials today?

Pending.

Still pending for me too

Did anybody go to the open house last Saturday? While I was there I attended an academic workshop where I learned I’m missing a class (soc 102) that my counselor never told me I had to take. I’m hoping this doesn’t hurt my chances since it’s the only class I’m missing. I’m a criminal justice major btw. Any criminal justice majors in here getting an AS-T? I wish they would just let me know already!

@nannl0ve does everyone have to take soc 102? Or is that just for your major? I never took it either
