Bus. Admin AS-T still pending here…

Can anyone else confirm this new “release date”? No disrespect to @Courtc08, I just hope that the school is generously overestimating how long it will take them to go through the applications.

What’s an ADT again? I don’t have anything… So I’m megascrewed?

I considered calling again and trying to speak to someone else. The guy sounded young so I actually was hoping someone would confirm my suspicion. maybe it would be a good idea to confirm. @justadude91cs ADT is an associates degree for transfer.

@justadude91cs this is a link with the info

Ah, I knew of them just always heard them called AS-T or whatever. But yeah man, super bummed now. This is slightly worrying… I mean they’ve extended dates on us many times over including on the supplemental. And I am probably not getting in anyways but still.

It’s not like this is the first time they’ve done this. They did this last year too. Don’t freak out people, everyone will hear eventually and calling them about it many times it’s not helping them get the decisions out faster.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I don’t want to sound dramatic, but SDSU is literally my last hope at attending a college without worry! They are the difference between me commuting 260 miles round-trip and commuting 25 miles round-trip. I know for damn sure that I cannot wait until the day before May 1st to submit a SIR! All these schools seems to be lagging this year! I am still waiting for UCSD, UCR, UCI, and SDSU, of course! I am losing sleep over this B.S!

To those who are curious, I got a response back from admissions concerning an email I sent last month (inquiring about Criminal Justice admissions). I can’t say how this applies to other programs, but this is what they said:

"Dear Andrea,

Thank you for your patience. We expect to have admission decisions out by the end of this week…"

Here’s hoping…

I’m starting to get antsy, so I’ll want to guess today will be the day. Last year it was on today that decisions were getting pushed out.

I venture to say, that due to the lack of responses, that nobody heard anything today???

@CodyNigh71 Nope just wind hisses and the ocassional tumbleweeds. Sorry I’m being sarcastic. I’m just super anxious! LOL !

I mean what seems crazy to me is that its not like they havent done this transfer admission decision/timeline like a zillion times. So I would think that at this point they would have this drill down. So I don’t get why they just can’t say that decisions are out “this day” and they are, they make their decision commitment, already taking into consideration any extra and unexpected time, based on previous years. It doesn’t make sense to me and I’m really frustrated and… Ucsb is doing the same thing. Ahhh so frustrating. Good luck to everyone!!! It’s not fair to do that when we made our time commitment with both the application and supplement deadline.

Can someone explain to me why those of us with ADT are the last ones to know? A girl in my class said she got accepted (psychology major) early march.

I just got this in my cc email.
"Hello!

The SDSU Representative will be here on April 10th presenting a workshop for Admitted Students to SDSU in the Library (LL-104) at 12:00pm."

How can they do that when not everyone knows if tthey got in or not??

@alexisNS, I agree. This is starting to become frustrating. The SIR deadline is May 1, but with some light searching around, I learned that sending transcripts can take weeks. Luckily, SDSU accepts electronic transcripts.

@moniiique, yea… me too. :(

We should all try to stay positive in the mean time. It’ll work out.

What’s really interesting is that Long beach received more applications then SDSU and I heard my acceptance from CSULB in the beginning of February. I know complaining won’t help but just thought I’d put that out there…

Hi guys! I’ve been reading this thread for a couple weeks but this is my first time posting.

General Bus Major
Transferring with AS-T
PENDING!!
GPA 3.5
I’ll have 61 units by the end of spring.
58 of my units were done here in SD so I guess I’m considered “local” to SDSU.

I think I’ve gone through the frustration stage already. Now I’m just depressed lol. I hope we find out soon!

I just called again and the woman I spoke with said today or early next week. I don’t even think they know at this point. I’m going crazy. My husband and I are trying to relocate and we can’t start looking for jobs in SoCal until I find out. This is easily the biggest life decision we have ever made and I have to wait on them. Anyway…just an FYI to everyone. I will now be checking the portal every 6.9 seconds until I lose my mind.

@Courtc08, I know the feeling. I used to check it so often too. What I tend to do nowadays is keep this thread open in a tab and just refresh it. I figure eventually a flood of decisions will come in and when the happens, then I’ll refresh the portal. It just saves a little time.

My mind is already gone. I’m just going to ball up in a corner with bourbon and drown my sorrows. Haha
