I am highly interested in 2400 Neuces and yes, I do qualify for SMART Housing… If I get accepted to UT, that is where I wanna live!

So far, I have about a 3.72 GPA. I’m applying to CNS, and was wondering what would be a good minimum to get in. I’m curious how much of a buffer I have for safety as I approach the end of the semester. I’m not sure whether to be nervous about being on the edge, or relieved at how certain my chances are of getting in.

haha yeah I check my email and I see nothing from UT so I’m like “oh maybe mystatus just hasn’t sent the email yet.” AH 2 weeks?! tooooo loooong

They started giving out decisions! But expect it to be in by Mid-November.

Really? I haven’t heard anything yet.

They’ve started giving out decisions?

So nerve-wracking y’all

I applied to both, UT Austin and Texas A&M. Got accepted into TAMU today! Hoping I get into UT because that’s my first choice.

My GPA is 3.92~4.0, I’m applying for cs major at UT-Austin. I’m an international so how is my chance to get into UT-Austin.

@chir490
Congrats!!! At least you got into Texas A&M!!

so nobody has heard anything about their decision ?

@bdimes thanks! I’ve applied as a Nutrition/Nutritional Sciences major to both and currently on the pre-med track. Hoping it all works out :D

But I must say, UT’s dorms are over-priced haha

@chir490
OMG me too! I got accepted into A&M like month ago lol and am still waiting for the UT’s decision :)

@wang904 Congrats to you! I hope we both get accepted haha

Yes! They have. I called in to ask and that’s what the lady told me. :)

When I log in to my mystatus page will it automatically say congrats you’ve been accepted? Or do I have to physically go check?

In the admissions tab where it says “In review” that will change to “accepted” or something like that.

Sekrim-You have to wait until January for decisions correct?

Korsgaard, yes I do. Transcripts don’t go out until December 20th.

Has anyone that already has the 30+ hours of credit been accepted (other than the auto-admits)?
