Didn’t see a thread for 2015 f=ma. Guys feel free to discuss how y’all are prepping for the exam. Hoping for an easy exam and a low cutoff!
Huh? Sum of the forces equals mass* acceleration?
i believe it is this http://www.aapt.org/physicsteam/2015/registration.cfm
Lol yeah it’s a bit of an unusual title but it is a physics exam @Te4mVygrin
not prepping at all
It’s weird that this year’s thread is so silent, considering last year’s USAPhO thread spans over 30 pages…
lol, some guy at my school didn’t know that it was okay to guess this time
prepping= just taking physics. If you can get an A in physics and your teacher isn’t horrible, you can probably make it. (maybe and late)
Yeah, there was a really noisy thread last time…
I wish we could discuss already!
Can’t we discuss already? It seems like last years thread already started discussing difficulty and cutoffs around this time (not problems).
I think we possibly can. I highly doubt anyone still hasn’t taken it
I predict a high high high cutoff
Unfortunately
how high?
18-20
What do you think @thepowerofone
i dont think its going to be that high i think 16-17
I hope so
Last yr cutoff was 12.5 so prob 13 correct, 2 wrong, 10 skipped. This year that would translate to 15 correct, 10 incorrect because of guessing so assuming the difficulty was the same as last year’s, the cutoff will be around 15.
It was so much harder last year
so stupid…how did they not write anywhere on the test(I took the online version) that there was no guessing penalty?
