I don’t understand. If people who have an ADT get priority then why are they accepted last?
I applied last fall 2013 as a transfer student with an ADT, and after all the grueling months of waiting, I finally received my admission decision early April 2014… I was worried/frustrated like the rest of you are right now, so I went to the campus to speak to people at the Transfer center (they’re extremely helpful btw, and I would suggest physically going in and introducing yourself, and asking THEM any confusing questions you may have. They’ll answer the most accurately, as opposed to your community college counselors). I asked them why people with ADT, people who are guaranteed priority consideration, are receiving decisions last. The lady explained to me that the colleges automatically save spots for ADT people, and then continue to fill the rest of the spaces in each major with transfer students without the ADT. So it’s almost like a bunch of you have already been admitted, CONTINGENT on that verification that’s due on March 15. That’s when your supplement application will be truly reviewed and a decision will be made (or confirmed).
Did anyone else’s “required for admission” section change? Mine used to say the same thing it sounds like everyone else’s did, something to the effect of “the housing portal isn’t open yet” with a few lines of other text beneath that. Now mine says “there are no requirements at this time”. Probably meaningless, but clearly I’m looking for any and every possible clue haha! Glad to have all of you to be neurotic with as we wait this out lol
Does ADT apply to all majors at state? My major is civil engineering; at Southwestern college, they don’t have an engineering associates.
Has anyone else tried calling? My phone just rang for ten minutes and I realized I’m probably not getting through lol. So nervous right now please let the decisions come out today !
Just checked the portal, still says pending, but the housing part is completely gone, just black section. I wonder if smth is getting updated or is it some glitch 
@socworktransfer mine says the same thing. But when i first submitted my application it asked if i was going to live on campus, and i had already said no, so maybe thats why? lol who knows.

@socworktransfer Yeah it did! I just checked mine and it literally must’ve just changed because I’ve been checking my portal every half hour. Wonder what it means 
@socworktransfer I literally just check my portal like 15 minutes ago and it said something like " Housing is open" and after I read your post i went back and read it again and it says “no requirements at this time”.
They are messing with our heads I tell you haha
@sibhuskymom hopefully it means they’re gearing up to send out answers! fingers crossed!
Last year the admitted posts started to come in near 1pm… so maybe after 12 we will get some responses.

I chose to live on campus and ealier it said housing is open or something like that. I just checked my portal and that whole section is gone. I think it means I didn’t get accepted 
I can still access my portal. :l
