Hey guys! I’m literally freaking out !!! IS IT APRIL YET ??? any sociology majors on here??
Feeling very discouraged… Just got rejected from UCSB today and was rejected from Cal Poly on Friday. UCSB has a reputation of being easier to get into than sdsu as a transfer, so I’m feeling very down. Anyone know of someone who was rejected from a UC but later got into SDSU?

I got denied from cal poly today 
I have tag to davis as a back up but I’d rather be in sd. This wait sucks and now I’m terrified.
Im a psych major & i also got denied into cal poly today
I’m also a soc major! Idk but my friends are getting denied with high gpa even though they’re local and completed everything…(some without the ADT tho) but still… sdsu is scary

This week I was accepted to UCSB and Cal Poly Pomona, but SDSU still remains my top choice!
I got accepted to UCSB today for Communications, I’m hoping I have good luck with SDSU! On my portal it says still pending, can it be april already!?!
Im also a socio major! Got into UCSB today too, this pending status is killing me. UCSC starts releasing decisions tomorrow, waiting on UCB, and have my tag accepted to Davis.
I applied to UCSC too! @teewess I just checked my portal, but it still says the UCSC Admissions Info of when they are announcing the admissions decisions and the times. So I’m guessing I’m still pending.
I actually also applied to Davis…do you know when we will be hearing back? Probably not until April right?
I’m at a point where I just want to see SOME sort of change in the Webportal. LOL.
I can wait for my decision so long as I see that something has been done with my application. No change whatsoever in the Webportal; still says the same things it did 5 – going on 6 months ago.
@run2college Thanks for the reply. I’ve started to look into housing as well… the studio/1 bed apartments in the area are expensive! I think student housing would be the best bet for me. B-)
does anyone know if i can update the student verification work sheet? i wrote the wrong student/s earning $$ amount and it is different from my tax transcript from IRS. of course i called and the admission person was so confused to what i was talking about.
@raychill89 I completely agree with you. I have a feeling we might hear back by the end of next week. fingers crossed
We received the email from State (about April admission decisions) on the 10th of this month. Last year, transfer student recieved that email on the 20th of March and found out about their admission 18 days later. Our 18th day is next Friday March 27th. I’m hoping that I’m right although finding out sooner wouldn’t be a problem. I’m glad State sent the email earlier this year!
@sallyyouna Sometimes when I can tell someone in admissions is having trouble answering a question, I nicely ask them if they can put me on hold and ask someone else who may know the answer. My guess though is that that may be more of a financial aid question. I’d try calling them also and see what they say.
If it makes you guys feel any better, I got accepted but I don’t feel any less stressed out. I just feel even more stressed out knowing that I can’t ruin my acceptance by failing a class. I would feel like the biggest idiot being accepted and then losing it.

I just got my acceptance to UCSC this morning! @santacruzchick, but today’s just the first day so they’ll be sending decisions out for awhile. And for Davis decisions for transfers don’t go out until late April, same time as Berkeley.
Have any of you submitted your intent to enroll for sdsu?
