2016 - 2017 USC Transfer

@chjd22 That would be a good idea :slight_smile: You could post your stats and then go back and update or re-post when an actual decision is made. That’s how I’ve seen it done in past years anyway :slight_smile:

its your 9 digit USC id and your date of birth

@IBProspect123 yeah, I am part of TTP

How do you format the DOB? And I have a 10 digit ID.

@chjd22 Yes of course!, just like @zettasyntax said you can go back and update your post when your final decision is made!

@Lechooch I think some people have access to their oasis accounts. I am not sure why, but it could be that USC wants to send you a SGR or something so you don’t have access to oasis yet. I got my info from the 2014transfer thread if anyone is interested: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1520682-official-usc-2014-transfer-thread-p111.html

Yes, the whole OASIS thing was always weird. I did get an SGR in 2014 and in 2015 I didn’t, but I assume I could still access it and all because I had already been able to use it. If you can’t login with your DOB, that just means you don’t have access to it and nothing more - since you shouldn’t technically be able to access it anyway until after you’re accepted :stuck_out_tongue:

@zettasyntax im glad you’re still here to “supervised” what goes on in these threads lol even though you’re already a USC student haha! thanks for letting us know! I thought the oasis thing is something related to or in you.usc.edu but i guess not.

How can you access oasis can someone post a link?

@thepinksun https://camel2.usc.edu/OASIS/

@pomeranian4rich Ha, the OASIS theories were crazy and I just like to share my thoughts having been through the barrage of posts and ideas :stuck_out_tongue: :slight_smile: I’m sure USC is going to switch things up eventually and just not allow potential students to access it at all (since it does have things like planning your courses and such), so it really doesn’t make sense for applicants to be able to see it at all and it just causes unnecessary stress for the other applicants that can’t access it.

Did the TTP transfer applicants hear back this early last year as well? If not, can regular admission transfers expect a response sooner as well?

@erickmorales second-time transfer accepted at the end of March/url.

@waitlistsucks claimed that transfer applicants from American University of Paris got decisions on 3-29.

@RAHforHEE got their acceptance on 4-10 (Global Health major). They didn’t receive the acceptance packet until 4-23, though.

Another two people received their acceptance packet on 4-24 (Music Industry majors).

I haven’t checked beyond this point yet. I’m not sure if any of these people were TTP. First one most likely was.

how are people already getting in without a SGR? I thought USC always asks for one, esp. for sophomore transfers.

@nittinten People who have already received their admission decisions are on the TTP (Trojan Transfer Program)
That means that a while ago they were offered a plan with specific requirements that they had to fulfill which would almost guarantee them admission if they completed all of these requirements. Most people who were offered these plans are part of a legacy.

@badmintongirl I am also on the TTP (soph transfer) and have not received anything yet; I am also a legacy.

@nittinten Did you apply to Dornslife? It looks like the people who got accepted so far are all TTP/Dornslife applicants.

@Probtransfer Marshall

@nittinten Marshall is really competitive from what I heard so it’ll take a while to hear from them
