I have an ID. What is the consensus on its meaning?

wow someones getting a bit stressed:P

Your comment also seems pretty inane to me so I’m also going to have to ask you to desist your useless comment making.

Lrn2Coexist, we can wait. We have to wait.

But in the meantime, who doesn’t like to play a game while we’re waiting. That’s all this is. It’s a guessing game we’re playing to figure out if we thought of a way to beat the system.

I’m sorry, are you talking to me?

Yes, the guy really wasn’t doing any harm :P. To be honest this whole situation seems rather ridiculous, I see no point in creating conflict an hour before UCLA’s decision.

Or wait! are the decisions released according to pacific time? In which case I’m going to bed :P

@noragon

I think it’s clear that people are stressed out about this situation. I’m already at UCLA and I have a final paper due by 5 but I can’t stop trying to see if my sister got in. Why? It’s important to her, to me, to our family. College decisions are significant ones that involve lots of money, time, and effort.
I’m sorry I find comments such as his rude and unhelpful when plenty of us are worried about the academic fate of our family members.

Yoooo you all neeed to chilllll

What time do you guys think the decisions gonna be posted?

Everyone needs to relax. I’m very nervous as well. The decisions have been made and any horsing around is probably gonna screw up the site, which will probably screw up the time our suggestions come. So how about everyone goes and grabs some Chipotle, pop a movie in and relax till 5:00 pm. The decisions have already been made!!! And I don’t mean to sound rude. :)

okay… I think the whole UCLA ID thing is just given to everyone I got mine too
so ppl don’t worry all of us will find out within few hours so chillx !!!~~~~~~~~

Does anyone know exactly what time the decision will come out? Is it at 6?

In 4 hours, we’ll all know.

BTW, who’s the knucklehead who started this stoopid ID thread anyhow? :D

I think people are saying between 3 and 5 p.m. PST?

Hey guys I was wondering if I could get a little clarification on this: what’s the difference between the logon.ucla site, myucla, and ursa? I’ve only an account on the logon.ucla site and have an ID # starting with 404 as well…

Logon site just makes you an account, which, if you’re an enrolled student, allows you to access everything UCLA. MyUCLA is your personal page with your classes and stuff like that. URSA has more to do enrollement, financial aid, payments, etc.

The general consensus is that the ID means nothing. The first numbers are random. Pretty much everyone has an 0 and 4 as their second and third numbers.

Ohh ok. So basically I don’t have to worry about any of those sites unless I’m actually admitted? Also is the financial aid stuff on URSA applicable to out of staters?

I don’t know much about financial aid since I don’t receive it, but pretty much yes, you don’t have to worry about any of the sites unless you’re admitted.

Alright thanks! Now on to more waiting haha

I’m beyond confused. Why has UCLA not issued a number or a formal statement of HOW to check the results? What am I supposed to do to find out WHEN they do decide to post? Could someone please explain in step by step directions? Thank you
