Here are some of the links we see after logging in through URSA. Each link shows up with a button, and the page is divided into 3 sections with the headings: academic, financial, and personal. Can other people see this through URSA?

Just to add another wrinkle to all of this.

A previous poster mentioned that URSA they only saw the 2011-2012 link for financial aid, which does not apply to newly admitted students.

However, on my daughters URSA page, she does have a link for 2012-2013 financial aid and then you can click on a link that says “access” and then I get a page that says “Document tracking functionality is available ONLY to continuing UCLA students and to admitted students, who have completed their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).”
There is no financial aid award posted.

Previously, when I checked URSA only saw the link for the 2011-2012.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? They may have just updated this for everyone.

rwscpa, you have created a monster! Just kidding. I am hesitating filling out the ID info for my son, as it seems to me to be a tad presumptuous to call him an “admitted student”…but it’s fun watching you all-- I am going crazy with anticipation!

2ndGenBruin…LOL…look, this college stuff is stressful enough for everyone. I’m enjoying playing around with this stuff here. It keeps us busy while we anxiously await the real decision.

rwsdpa - On URSA, if I click on “View Financial Aid Document Tracking” for my daughter, it also shows “2012-2013” & then an icon that says “access”, which brings me to the page that says “Document tracking functionality is available ONLY to continuing UCLA students and to admitted students, who have completed their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).”

I can also get into her MyUCLA page, but I don’t see her major listed on there.

Can anyone access housing? lol When we were awaiting notification for transfers the main indicators were Financial Aid Tracking, major listed on MyUCLA, and Housing info.

Also right before decisions the system goes down for like 15 mins and then BAM! decisions are posted =)

@aninstance I see the same as you. If I click “view Financial aid document tracking” I only see 2011-2012. if I click on “View efan and Financial aid on my fao” and then click on continue on the next page I see Academic Year 2012-2013. If you “mouse over” the “no request” link it tells me that they can determine status because a SIR has not been submitted

rwscpa, def. way too stressful for me…my son, fortunately, is cool about it all (and not just on the outside). He didn’t get my type-A gene. And to think I have 6 more days of this…waiting for a bunch next Thursday (incl. Berkeley). And then the financial aid “offers” - -two of the publics he got into gave us bunches of loans (one offered more than the overall sticker price?!) but not enough merit aid to make it worth paying OOS fees.
