2016 - Did anyone else get assigned an ID #

Here are some of the links we see after logging in through URSA. Each link shows up with a button, and the page is divided into 3 sections with the headings: academic, financial, and personal. Can other people see this through URSA?

it logs me out too. btw, how many people here can log into myucla ???

I get logged rIght out of myucla.

@tug Yes, pretty much everyone can see this. Access to MyUCLA seems to be the anomaly here.

lol someone from UCLA should really address this situation :P, its ****ing disgraceful.

Just to add another wrinkle to all of this.

A previous poster mentioned that URSA they only saw the 2011-2012 link for financial aid, which does not apply to newly admitted students.

However, on my daughters URSA page, she does have a link for 2012-2013 financial aid and then you can click on a link that says “access” and then I get a page that says “Document tracking functionality is available ONLY to continuing UCLA students and to admitted students, who have completed their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).”
There is no financial aid award posted.

Previously, when I checked URSA only saw the link for the 2011-2012.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? They may have just updated this for everyone.

Framed, did your brother and sister create an account the way we described using their 7digit application #?

Anyone see their major on My.UCLA.edu ?

@palm Are you looking at the same place? I see what you’re talking about when I go to MyFAO, but the other two links only refer to 2011-2012.

It was a log on for Services; which you initially posted using just their names and email addresses.

I’m in contact with them via webcam, currently sitting in a dorm :D.

@smcguy One person said they’d seen in at one point but they don’t see it now. And apparently two people can access MyUCLA but others cannot…

rwscpa, you have created a monster! Just kidding. I am hesitating filling out the ID info for my son, as it seems to me to be a tad presumptuous to call him an “admitted student”…but it’s fun watching you all-- I am going crazy with anticipation!

palmspringsmom, I see what you’re seeing. However, if I click on “View Financial Aid Document Tracking”, it shows only 2011-2012.

2ndGenBruin…LOL…look, this college stuff is stressful enough for everyone. I’m enjoying playing around with this stuff here. It keeps us busy while we anxiously await the real decision.

rwsdpa - On URSA, if I click on “View Financial Aid Document Tracking” for my daughter, it also shows “2012-2013” & then an icon that says “access”, which brings me to the page that says “Document tracking functionality is available ONLY to continuing UCLA students and to admitted students, who have completed their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).”

I can also get into her MyUCLA page, but I don’t see her major listed on there.

Can anyone access housing? lol When we were awaiting notification for transfers the main indicators were Financial Aid Tracking, major listed on MyUCLA, and Housing info.

Also right before decisions the system goes down for like 15 mins and then BAM! decisions are posted =)

@aninstance I see the same as you. If I click “view Financial aid document tracking” I only see 2011-2012. if I click on “View efan and Financial aid on my fao” and then click on continue on the next page I see Academic Year 2012-2013. If you “mouse over” the “no request” link it tells me that they can determine status because a SIR has not been submitted

any insight or is it a rejection :P?

Is everyone able to log into USRA now and see the menu ?

rwscpa, def. way too stressful for me…my son, fortunately, is cool about it all (and not just on the outside). He didn’t get my type-A gene. And to think I have 6 more days of this…waiting for a bunch next Thursday (incl. Berkeley). And then the financial aid “offers” - -two of the publics he got into gave us bunches of loans (one offered more than the overall sticker price?!) but not enough merit aid to make it worth paying OOS fees.

Let’s go UCLA - get that server humming!
