@phoenix23 I called admissions, and they said I can petition for them to find it and look through their old mail. My portal just recently updated so guessing they were able to find my transcript through that. I hope they’re able to process you transcript on time, try petitioning if you haven’t already
@jonathaanv I’m a Marshall applicant!!
Anyone else sent there high school transcript like in January but it still doesn’t show in received documents? It says they received my de anza college transcripts tho and I sent both the same day.
@penntousc hey I’m a junior since I think being around 60 transferable units (Usc approved units) is considered a junior standing. This is why I’m freaking out since I’ve already done my two years of CC !
Hello everyone,
I transferred into Marshall last year as a junior, happy to answer any questions you guys might have. My area of expertise is investment banking, so if you are interested in doing that I’m definitely the person to talk to.
@IBProspect123 hi, I’m a Marshall applicant who is looking to transfer in as a junior like you did! Can you post your stats for us?
@Pantafootball
"Accepted into Marshall Pre-business for junior standing. Post-marked May 4th. Guess that email asking for more financial aid documents was a good sign after all. When do we find out about aid & the transfer merit scholarship?
Stats of those of you who are interested:
School: OOS State School
Units Applied with: 47
Units in Progress: 19
College GPA: 3.87

EC’s: Few internships relevant to my major, started my own business, worked as a realtor, 2nd place in a finance competition, few part-time jobs.
Essays: 8/10
Recs: Two from people who knew me really well
I wish everyone else the best of luck, FIGHT ON!"
i like how the majority of the applicants here are marshall lmao
@pomeranian4rich hahaha I know right … I honestly think it’s cause they have an amazing program… that’s what caught my attention so much. I’m considering doing another year of cc and dropping all my acceptances if I don’t get into Marshall this year as a junior.
For me Haas and Marshall are like literally 1a and 1b. Both awesome programs, both great schools, only downside is USC is in socal and I live commute distance from Cal, but that’s no big deal for me.
@ashurikko lol wtf they never offered me that in the countless times I called them. Oh well, I had to waste another $5 but I found out today they got my transcript. Let’s just hope it didn’t affect my decision.
I am Marshall too… I am so sad though because I would have had a 3.67 but I now have a 3.57 due to a B in a 4 unit class and now I am freaking out that I won’t get accepted!
Can someone please reassure me that there people have been admitted into Marshall as a transfer with a 3.57? Lol.
@jonathaanv I’d also consider public vs private & the general academic direction USC is headed in. I think in the next few years we are going to make leaps in the rankings (jumped 2/3 spots in 2017) as more public schools in California face funding issues.
I am Marshall too…when do decisions start to come?
any viterbi cs applicants here?
Nope, I’m a Dornsife applicant! Anyone else?
@CornellAEMplease end of April
Dornsife! Comp Neuro
Dornsife, Human Bio!!!
@usctransferivc you’re golden! There aren’t a ton of people who get in with a 3.57 but it definitely does happen. Based on your completed GE’s and major prep, your letters of recommendation, your supplemental questions, and your personal statement, I definitely think you have a shot!
Good luck!
