@polololo you still need to resubmit, yes. I’m TTP and had to resubmit. The only things you don’t need to resubmit are test scores (assuming you have more than 30 units by the time you apply) and AP scores (you only need to submit AP scores if you enroll and want credit)
@polololo welcome to collegeconfidential, where we have no idea what is going on
@polololo I’d like to throw another coin in the re-submit bucket. I thought USC still had my HS transcript stuff on file from when I had submitted it the year before, but lo and behold, I was asked to send it in again. I wasn’t TTP or anything though. Just a CC student that tried a second transfer attempt. It sure wouldn’t hurt to send it again.
My mistake, I had a total brain fart. You do need to resubmit HS transcript because the most recent one they have only includes 1st term of senior grades. They need one that says your graduated.
Things like SAT/ACT/AP do not, however.
New package in informed delivery… my heart fell to the floor…was Amazon.
Does anyone know what the conditional officer is for those who get into Viterbi without an SGR? I had a 4.0 and finished all my preqs first semester but this semester isn’t looking the best. Not awful, but not great.
I got a SGR for Annenberg! Was on my portal dated Friday April 20 and I saw it on my USPS Informed Delivery today. Is this a good thing? I am a freshman right now.
@collegequestions1799 Nice - it’s good if you do not mind waiting for a decision until later on! What region are you in if you do not mind me asking? (East Coast, West, Midwest, etc).
Everyone please please withdraw your applications if you’ve already got into your top choice or no longer want to attend USC so that it opens up spaces for other people. This would actually be really helpful for all of us.
@Elena1355 This is probably the funniest thing I’ve read on this website
i didn’t get SGR (yet?) but a transcript for my college popped up in my required documents even though in received documents the first one i sent is there
@aznboi4981 I live about an hour away from USC in SoCal! Has anyone else gotten a SGR in Annenberg?
@csumit, I wouldn’t worry about your acceptance being revoked unless you’re expecting an F, but you may get a SGR if you’re only a second semester freshman
@scarletred Thanks. I’m a TTP applicant so theres a non-zero chance I might not get a SGR. However, I’ve read they usually want a 3.5 second semester. I’m probably ending up with a 3.46 (only 2 Bs and rest A/A-s). I am taking 18 units, but still worried.
@collegequestions1799 i applied for annenberg too but I havent received an sgr. Im a junior appplicant tho so I’m hoping i dont get one
A TTP applicant that had a stellar high school record, (like a 4.0/4.5 and high test scores) that likely was only denied because major/school was full, then posted a strong first semester (3.7 or 3.8+), particularly at a four year, will likely not get an SGR and will just get admitted straight away.
@CADREAMIN Thanks! Do you know anything about what a conditional offer from Viterbi looks like? I’ve heard they can want anything from a 3.3-3.5 second semester
I don’t know about the term “conditional offer.” I just know that 3.7+ is the magic number to pretty much guarantee it for a TTP into Viterbi or any school applied to. Again, for TTP.
I just noticed I got a non-sgr admission into Dornsife dated for the 20th, complete with a PDF letter and everything. I never got an email or letter in the mail about this, so just heads up to anyone else waiting for decisions. The enrollment deadline appears to be two weeks after a decision, but I haven’t received a financial aid summary yet, so I’m waiting this out till then.
Stats wise i’m a junior transfer with sixty credits and a 3.6 GPA, so this was really unexpected for me, but hey I ain’t complaining! Too all those still waiting for decisions just remember that even if you might seem under-qualified you just might be what there looking for this cycle.
@rrtyu12 Congrats! Please consider posting on the stats-only decisions forum.
