Sounds like the first wave is starting to come. Congrats to those who have been accepted thus far!
realllly hoping viterbi first round goes out next week (or even this week) but not getting my hopes up
Y’all getting me scared now that I see nothing in my ID!!
But congrats to you @usctransfer2018 !!
Is the mobile app I am supposed to use UPS or USPS
Also random question, so I put on my app how I am apart of the Phi Theta Kappa honors club at my school but this semester I haven’t been able to go to any of the meetings and be active cause of my work schedule interferes. Do you think USC counselors or the committee like call or check to see if your active in the clubs you put to check ? I feel like they wouldn’t cause that would take too much time to do for each person but then again I don’t know
Can someone explain to me how they know a package is coming for them?
@gigiiris USPS Informed Delivery
@aznboi4981 does that work for international students as well? Or only within the US
International packages are delivered by DHL, so no, it won’t work.
And in the US, Informed Delivery is not reliable for packages coming from USC admissions. During the January and March waves of acceptances, there were few if any of the 8000+ recipients that saw the package coming on Informed Delivery There has been speculation about how USC keeps the packages from getting scanned. Some say USC doesn’t enable and/or pay for scanning of their packages because they want kids to have their “white box” surprise. Nobody knows for sure, but don’t freak out because you don’t see a packages coming to you from USC, it does not mean you were rejected.
Good luck to everyone!
@Elena1355 Yeah, sadly international packages are shipped via DHL, so it would not work for international applicants.

@USCPLEASE93 they usually don’t. I’ve heard they pick a random number of applicants to verify (for freshman), but I can’t verify that they do that for transfer or at all for the matter. I’m pretty is very unlikely though. Even if they did, it’s really just to make sure you’re not claiming to be part of a club when you’re not or making stuff up
@USCPLEASE93 yeah I don’t think they’d call, and if they want to check they’d probably contact you asking for a letter from them or something, I doubt they’d call them directly
@USCPLEASE93 I doubt that they check. First of all it takes way to long and secondly it’s under the honor code that you can’t lie. In addition, it’s not like honor societies are unusual, so there is little reason to doubt.
Did you explicitly write that you were active? If not then it shouldn’t be an issue.
You guys I think admissions also makes decisions on weekends. Someone asked this question earlier, but I’m not sure if it was answered. I was looking at the #IGotIntoUSC tag on insta and someone posted their acceptance letter dated April 21, 2018 (a Saturday). I know this doesn’t help us with the waiting process, but thought this was interesting to share
hey y’all it says I am getting a package from USC on my usps account today. Does that mean I got in?
@dancingmed Most likely!! Congrats! Where are you from?
@aznboi4981 Thanks, I can’t believe it! I’m from the Valencia, CA , where six flags is lol.
Oh okay! Nice! I’m from NJ…
So far, the people that have received Informed Delivery package notifications from USC are from Virginia, Maryland, and California!!
@dancingmed congrats!!! what is your major?
