2019 Trials Summer Program at Harvard Law School

Omg heard back and have my interview for next week !

@TokyoTrials That’s amazing! All the people in the previous TRIALS forums (there’s one for 2018 & 2017) who received an email back ended up getting accepted! So you’re practically in already!!

@Daniprelaw Thank you! Also about the previous years forums, I noticed that as well. I don’t want to get my hopes up because it’s not over yet. But I feel very blessed to have come this far.

@TokyoTrials Do you know anyone else who has applied and heard back from them? Do you know if there’s still hope for us who haven’t heard from them?

There certainly is hope, with roughly over 2000 applications carefully reviewing applications take time. Don’t give up. @Daniprelaw I do not know anyone who has applied to this program.

Hey Guys! So I heard back from Trials last week and had my Interview scheduled as well as additional information requested. Praying that I get in.

@shahjahan123 Congratulations! You’re practically already in! I’m so excited for you! When is your interview?

Thank you! I have my second interview coming up this week.

@shahjahan123 My 2nd interview is also this week. Best of luck!!

You too man! We got this.

@TokyoTrials @shahjahan123 Let me know how it goes! I might apply next year since I’m still a sophomore, and I would love to get some tips from you guys! (I’m pretty sure if you made it this far you’re going to be accepted). My friend already got her rejection email, and I’m waiting on mine. (I wish it was already here, it’s much more fun waiting for good things to happen than waiting for bad things to happen!)

I found out on Friday that I was accepted. So notifications for everyone should be rolling out this next week. Good luck to everyone else in the running.

I was accepted into TRIALS everyone! GOD BLESS

Have you heard back yet @TokyoTrials ? Also, @J604921 and @shahjahan123 how did you both find out? Email or phone?

I heard back through email!

I just received my rejection email. I just wanted to post this so that people know that being a finalist (meaning I was asked for letters of recommendation, transcripts, and test scores) doesn’t automatically mean you’re in. From the previous CC threads it appeared that way, but it seems as if the 60 finalists figure is accurate. Good luck to those still in the running!!

Been a while since I posted on here – update: received trials decision last week via email.

I haven’t posted in here before but I found out last Friday that I was accepted into TRIALS! Honestly, no matter what the decision we should all feel proud of what we’ve done and accomplished! We are amazing no matter what!

Hello everyone,

I was accepted to Trials 2019. I want to share some advice for future applicants. Trials select 60 finalists who they interview. However, only 20 get accepted. While getting an interview is a huge accomplishment, it’s not an automatic acceptance. The interviews (I had 2) plays such an important role too. To stand out, I recommend writing a compelling essay about WHY you WILL become an attorney and how trials will help you get there. Personally, I consider the essay to be the most important part of the application. Your LOR is also important, so get them from people who know you personally and could testify to your special traits. Lastly, when interviewing make sure to be confident about your accomplishments and know what you will bring to the trials community.

Good luck everyone, let me know if you need help.

Hi ! looking for information form people that got accepted. Applying for 2020 summer. Any advice on why you think you got chosen, I know your probably amazing!!! Did you have an amazing GPA and what did you focus your personal statement on ? Also when you went was it only sophomores and juniors accepted because I will be senior next year!
