abby, my S called and an intern said they had the docs. I suggested that in addition to calling, he email admissions so he has something in writing stating they have the docs.

luck to you!

@biomed1 yeah i haven’t either… im just getting kind of scared because my high school is the most attended high school at tulane and people with worse stats than me have already gotten in… sorry that sounds really rude and condescending im just getting nervous

My Gibson isn’t working either, saying invid username/password. This still happening to other people?

@engineering2015 same here :(

@turndown4college you’re from Illinois?

Gibson is obviously down for the holidays. I am sure they will have it fixed sometime tomorrow.

I was just going to say Gibson is down.

D was able to get on just now.

S can now log in to Gibson, but it no longer shows him anything about his status. It just says “Welcome. You are signed in as…” The rest of the screen is blank. Sure hope that doesn’t mean he has been moved into the rejected pile!!

No, these kinds of hiccups are not uncommon on Gibson, unfortunately. It has happened the last few years, at least. Not sure if it is when they are updating files or what. But it is nothing to worry about and certainly nothing to speculate about. It means nothing other than Gibson simply isn’t working at the moment. It seems to happen more on weekends than otherwise.

fallenchemist, Thank You! I have just emailed them asking them to review my stats. But unfortunately I am not going to play volleyball in college, as i figured I have high enough stats to get a full ride somewhere!
Question: Since I did not receive any merit money from admissions, do you recommend applying to any of the full-tuition scholarships at Tulane?

@Volleyball1697

I think the premise is wrong because I continue to think you not getting merit money is an error. It just doesn’t make sense if you have a 4.0 UW GPA and a 33 ACT. I am assuming you are not “superscoring” that ACT, because Tulane doesn’t. Even so, getting no merit money would still make no sense to me. I cannot see your whole application, so perhaps there is something that affects such a decision I cannot know. Talk to them right away and see what they say. Then get back to me on here, or by Private Message if you prefer.

@engineering2015 yeah I am

D received her acceptance this weekend. 23,000 in merit aid. 2140 SAT. 3.7 UW GPA. Very good EC’s. Strong recs. very pleased!

Excellent! Congrats to her, and to you.

Has anyone from Washington State gotten in yet? I’m getting very anxious :-SS

submitted 2.5 months ago. Starting to think I didn’t make it - sigh!

Does Tulane admit students by major? Has anyone been admitted as an undergraduate public health studies major??? I haven’t received a decision yet and I am getting nervous too.

I have a question for the Honors Program. I was admitted as a Distinguished Scholar (27k/year) and did not receive anything about the Honors Program. Would I be notified of this on my admission letter or at a different time?

D got a Pres scholar award of $32k/yr and the next paragraph in that letter invited her to the honors program. So I believe that would be in the letter, yes.
