I hope we all get in, yaâll guys are so nice. Iâve been lurking on this thread for awhile and you guys all deserve greatness
You should send them in to your AO. I sent my application updates in and she added it for me. It is sort of late to do it now since AOâs tend to get back to you in 1-2 weeks but it wouldnât hurt to try!
you too <33
what if I got wgrïŒwinter grade requestïŒ,and I uploaded the unofficial gpa report in mid April. Is that same as sgr? And is that mean I should wait until mid june?
Atp they are behaving like ucla admission this year lol
thank you for the advice!!!
probably not since most ppl who have to wait the long have semesters that end in late-may/june
Welp all Ik is they are running outta time next week is our week!
I opened mine so much the bulb burned out. Oh well âŠ
what a let down
has USC ever released decisions over the weekend
weâve been hoodwinked, bamboozled, lead astray, run amok and flat out deceived
Probably more common when mailed decisions being received first was a thing. I got my acceptance on June 6th 2015 (a Saturday), but it still had Fridayâs date on the decision letter.
Been traveling from USC and when I saw 145 posts, I thought for sure there was news, omgâŠ
Well, I suppose graduation took it out of all of them and they slept through notification day. Sorry folks, but this is the typical USC transfer notification cycle, always brutal. At least you know it has to be next week now (ya, feel free to throw something at the screen, sometimes that whole Pollyanna thing just isntâ helpful, I know).
No reason to think it wasnât today as this is always a BIG Friday, except that little thing called covid that has jacked up about every plan for the last 12 months. Graduation had to be an all hands on deck to pull off, it was really something. If you go to USC events, you quickly understand what magic they are and how professional they are done. It likely put everything else on hold to accomplish. Graduation was THE priority, no question.
So just to clarify a couple things I noticed from newer posters while cruisin through:
-TTP is not guaranteed. Great odds of acceptance, but there have certainly been TTPs rejected for a second time. (First time being freshman application.) There was a couple posters on here weeks back that fell into that category (that were rejected as TTP last year).
-TTP is offered to legacy, but it is also offered to some non-legacy, typically academic standouts they didnât have room for - it helps them plug holes in a class with other high stat students the following year.
-Yes, they definitely have an advantage over a regular (non-TTP) transfer.
There is an entire thread pinned on CC with the details of TTP as it has been around for decades:
Is it at all possible that decisions would be released over the weekend? I just canât imagine why they would wait until the very last minute for such a massive amount of decisions.
If there are 145 new posts when nothing has been released yet, I canât imagine how busy this thread will be when someone, let alone tens or hundreds of people get an admission decision
