Which score or scores should I send to colleges?

I can’t tell you whether to send both or not (and it may depend on the college) but what I can tell you is that a 32 ACT is better than a 2030 SAT, although I came across a rumor here on CB that some selective schools descriminate against ACT. Don’t know if there is much to it, though

I know 32 equals 2130, it would be nice to get a list of colleges that discriminate against ACT

The 32 is better.

the ACT is MUCH BETTER!!! Your ACT is in the 99th percentile :)

If there was a list of schools that “discriminates” against the ACT, it would be a very short list. Don’t worry about it.

Yes, I know it’s better but should I send the 32 or both scores?

Send the ACT only unless you have VERIFIED that the school really won’t like/use your ACT score.

But, seriously, which schools would those be???

Look at it this way…

If you only send the ACT score and the school likes the SAT better, they’re not going to reject you just because of your ACT score. BUT, they might reject you because your SAT score is a lower percentile.

ACT is viewed with the same weight as the SAT. Don’t let the coastal bias fool you.

Send the ACT only.
