Do I have good chance of getting into 7/8 year medical programs with a 2100 SAT score? I know that is the borderline for a lot of programs so I wanted to know if most of the people accepted get 2200 or higher?

It really depends on the program. Some of them are absolutely brutal, accepting only the best of the best, while others are not as difficult. I know that the 7 year program at Stony Brook only requires you to have a 1350 on your SAT, so that may be a viable option for you.

^^ I’m pretty sure that’s Math and Critical Reading combined only.

Well yes of course. Sorry for not specifying

Alright, thanks! I have a 1410 with Math and Reading only but I heard that most people accepted have in the 1500’s…

Yea just to be on the safe side you might want to take it again.

yea I probably will, but will it hurt me if I do worse? Can colleges see that?

Well they take the highest scores. So even if you score less in 1 section and score higher in another they take the higher one. For example in math if you take the test 3 times, you get 500 the first time 700 the second time and 600 the third time, they take the 700 because that is the highest. This applies for all three sections.

are you sure it is like that for all colleges or just some??

Try asking your counseler.
