I am going to apply as an international student.Do you think 2100 on the SAT + about 2300++ on SAT IIs (3 tests) is enough ?Ofcourse a 4.00 GPA + lots of ECs.Thanx .

As much as I dislike commenting with insufficient information at my disposal, I would make an educated guess, that it seems suitable, judging by the scores of admitted ED applicants. However in terms of ECs, quality trumps quantity.

The median score for the class of 2012 was 2200. When you consider 40% of the class has a hook, that makes the median score for the unhooked considerably higher.

I am really interested in international SAT scores. I wonder if there is some leeway given to internationals, at least on verbal sections. Or are the SAT demands even higher? I am deeply concerned, because if there was but a single gap in my application, that would be my SAT score. (I will be applying next year.)

I think you need at least 2510 to get in.

I would assume you meant 2150. :) My problem with the SAT are the scanning machines. It was the first time I actually took a machine-scored test.

Where are you from Powerhead?

South-Eastern Europe.

I would imagine they would look at your CR differently if you have a high TOEFL score and high math and SATII scores. Are you at least well into the 600's CR? Would you be considered a top student in your country? Any national awards?

Well, I have a 690 on all of them. I am yet to take the SATII. I'd like to consider myself fluent in English, especially in spoken English. I go to a top school, and I am a top student. This is the first year, where I might be eligible for competition on a national level, and if my destiny is fortunate, on an international level.
