Is a 2110 a good score or should i retake?

That all depends on where you are applying, what the break down of your score is (cr, m, w), and what your GPA is..
the short answer is however that for most schools, 2110 will be enough-

math: 750
Writing: 700
CR: 660

Albert Peng is that you??!

I had your exact score! I'll let you know where I applied and where I got in just to help you out with your thought process. However, remember that there are many other components to consider while trying to get into college.

Accepted: UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, College of William and Mary (where I will be going!), Colgate, Davidson, Boston College, Wheaton College

Waitlisted: Rice University, Bowdoin College

Rejected: Stanford University, Williams College

i had a 2090 and got into uc berkeley, ucla, ucsd, dartmouth, stanford and harvard

Tarun45: then you're probably an orphan mexican girl who was raped at a young age, top of your class, won every science fair imaginable, and founded red cross.

actually i am an indian male at the top of my class and i have done quite a bit of extracurriculars but im not an orphan

wait Tarun.. are you indian as in native american? or indian from like India?? I know this sounds sooo stupid but then you know being a native american can get you in anywhere

indian is in india

Tarun45 did you take any satII tests? If so what are your scores. Will you tell us what are your EC that made you get into schools. thanks

"I know this sounds sooo stupid but then you know being a native american can get you in anywhere"

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Please don't ever say that, it cheapens admissions of all the native americans who have worked their butt off just as hard as everyone else.

I agree w/ Lamdun

Tarun45, Thanks for posting your EC. You are an incredible kid!!! Why won't colleges accept someone like you.

cm, that's a great list! Congrats! Were you in-state for William and Mary?

darn that affirmative action thing~!

anyway~ i think although that sat score is not really that high, a lot of extracurricular activities and a good essay would compensate.

i'm living proof that sat scores arent everything in college admissions

Hi Mac... no, I am out of state for William and Mary. I simply fell in love with it when I visited. Although I did have many great choices, it was in no way a difficult choice for me to make William and Mary my school for next week. Some people give me a quizzical glance when I tell them that I turned down Berkeley for William and Mary... But it does'nt bother me... hehe. Anyway, are you going to W and M next year also?

Tarun also probably got a bit of reverse AA cause his Indians and we Indians are lumped into the giant Asian categorie

even me and im West Indian, family hasnt seen asia for 3 generations lol
