2120 and 34

Hi everyone! As one can see from the title, I achieved a 2120 (660 cr, 700 writing (10), 760 math) on the SAT and a 34 (35 writing, 34 math, 32 reading, 35 science, 33 writing/essay (10)) on the ACT.
That was my 3rd time taking the SAT and 1st time taking the ACT.

I'm currently deliberating as to whether I should take the SAT again to bring my CR score up, but I don't know if I really need to with my ACT-SAT concordance apparently being a 2260. I'm still wary about colleges considering my SAT score against me even though my ACT score is good. My school includes both on my transcript, so colleges will see both scores no matter what.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I'm considering many colleges (public and private), including 7 year BA-MD programs.

Thanks for reading! :)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but won’t colleges only consider scores you send directly from the testing company? I believe you need to send an official score report to each college you apply to. In that case, send your ACT :)

almost all colleges, especially the top tier colleges, use your highest score, in this case your ACT. They usually try to give the student the benefit of the doubt.

Your ACT is outstanding and proves that you are an excellent learner. Your SAT demonstrates a relative weakness in reasoning. College admissions is all about showcasing your best self. That means ditching your SAT. I know some schools include AP scores on transcripts, but I never heard of that with SATs. If that is actually true, I would instruct your school in writing that they are not to include the SAT on your transcript. It serves no purpose there. Do not believe for a minute that it will not be taken in to consideration no matter what they tell you.
