2210 sat or 31 act?

I know the 2210 sounds better, but whenever I look at schools ranges, they always show the composite act score and the breakdown of the sat. My math sat is only a 640, the only part of my scores that does not match up to the schools I am applying to. Should I bother sending the act simply because it puts me within the ranges?

My scores:

SAT:

math - 640
writing - 770
cr -800

ACT:

math - 29
science- 29
reading - 35
english - 30 (with essay)

I would appreciate any advice!

You want to send both. Colleges will only take the one that they think is better, and in your case, I think both help you out. Your 800 and 35 in CR is pretty amazing.

Just send the SAT, since I’m pretty sure schools can view ACT subscores anyway. Your 2210 is significantly better than the 31.

2210 is significantly better than a 31 (~2060).
