Just got my March scores back, and superscored from january, I have a 2230 (720 reading, 710 math, 800 writing with 12 essay)! I also took the February ACT and got a 33 (35E, 33M, 34R,30S, 8 essay (idk why this happened lol)).
So, as long as my scores don't improve, which would be the better score to send right now? Are they about equal? Or is one slightly better than the other? I'm probably taking the ACT one more time in June to get (hopefully!!) a 34. Thanks everyone!

Oh, and I'm applying to HYP!

They are about the same. 2230 may be slightly better if it is not superscored.

It is superscored, but why would that matter if it’s just the highest sections? I called Harvard and they said “we go through each test date and simply highlight the highest scores, disregarding everything else” so why should it matter?

It matters in the scores conversion. The score conversion table is based on the students taking both tests each in a single seat without superscoring. You know there is a difference between single seat 2230 and superscore 2230. After all, it is actually hard to compare scores in these 2 tests particularly without subscores break down conversion. With the table from Collegeboard, ACT 33 matched to SAT 2170-2220 (assuming 33 in both CR+M and W). So 2230 is slightly better if it is also from a single seat.
