I’m sure this has been asked plenty of times but I just need a few opinions. The places I’m applying to all superscore the SAT and mine is a 2200, CR: 680 M: 760 W: 760 while my ACT is a 33, 34E 33M 33R 33S. I take Math 2 and Chem subject tests soon but I am unsure of how I’ll do or if I will even hit 700 atleast on both. But one place im applying to accepts either ACTw/writing (I don’t have my essay score back yet) or SAT with 2 subject tests. So which should I send?
This is purely my opinion and I would wait to hear some other opinions if I were you. But I think the 33 ACT is better. I got a 2190 SAT superscored (nearly the same as your 2200) but a 31 ACT. So if you go off of that, assuming that a 2190 SAT=31 ACT, then 33 ACT > 2200 SAT.
The way I understand it is: a 34+ ACT is basically like a 2300+ SAT. You were close to a 34 but 100 points off a 2300. Hopefully that makes sense lol. The difference between a 33 ACT and 2200 SAT is small but your ACT is still better, even if by a little bit. Also I feel like your ACT subscores were nice and evenly distributed, while a 680 CR on the SAT is not so impressive compared to your M and W scores.

Based on this website, your SAT and ACT scores are pretty similar but as Anglograce has said, I would go with the 33 ACT.
They are basically the same. http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/estimate.html The ACT is less variable.
So my ACT would have the upper hand due to its evenness? @JuicyMango @Erin’s Dad
I think so. The 680 CR really sticks out in your SAT, while all the individual scores of your ACT are pretty even and all solid.
I’d go with the ACT. If the CR and W were reversed it might be different.
