2280 SAT vs 34 ACT

Which score looks more impressive on a college application?

a 34 ACT is probably going to be higher in the median range, but I would submit both

They’re comparable.

Send in both.

Comparatively speaking, a 34 on the ACT would fall in the 2280-2330 range on the SAT. Like others suggest, I would send both.

According to the ACT test-makers, 34 concords to 2250.

Thanks for the responses.

Send both, they are nice. :D

Edit, sorry about repeating what everyone said, I had this on by browser for quite a while

I used the SAT/ACT conversion chart on the SAT page on Wikipedia:

[SAT - Wikipedia](<a href=“SAT - Wikipedia”>SAT - Wikipedia)

I used this chart:

[Estimated Relationship between ACT Composite Score and SAT CR+M+W Score](http://www.act.org/aap/concordance/estimate.html)

omg send in both! that’s insane!!

It is commendable to have both those scores under your belt. I would advise you to send in both.

Thanks :D. If I retake the SATs in March and score a 2350+ would it be more beneficial to send in just the SAT score?

In that case, yes.
